I always neglect to post teasers here lately, for anyone not on Tumblr. Sorry about that! :) I'm expecting to finish this up in the next couple of days if all goes well, and by the end of the week for sure.

I've been doing a lot of writing for the next chapter. I still have a couple of scenes to complete, but it's really coming along. For fun, I thought I'd run what I had through Wordle to see what that suggested about the contents of the chapter. To me, it's more of a teaser than a spoiler, but if you'd rather not know, well you know the drill...

I think I can safely say that this will be ready in January. It's entirely possible that I could get it done before Christmas at the rate I've been going (though the pics may take a little longer), but I plan to wait either way. New year, new chapter. :) That is the plan.

A slightly less productive day than I'd hoped for, but still making good progress. :)

I'm not even kidding. It's really going to be here soon. An actual chapter update. Who'd have thought?

I jumped ahead and wrote a little scene that will likely be the opening to chapter 36, and I wanted to share it because I'm feeling impatient like that. It's the opening scene, so it doesn't give too much away, but if you'd rather wait until the chapter is posted (and no, it won't be a two year wait, I promise), you can do that. If, like me, you're interested in checking in with Johnny, Ripp, and Ophelia again a little ahead of schedule, please read on.

I'm pushing onward for the next chapter update, which will involve a fair amount of cc hunting, even if I keep things relatively simple compared to what I might have done with this chapter previously. I figure I may as well have fun with this, so here's a teaser/WCIF for you. :P

The WCIF is for the identity of Nina and Dina's hair meshes. I am fairly certain they are both Simgaroop retextures, but I don't recall the names of these downloads or the meshes used, and Simgaroop retextured a lot of hairs.

I've started uploading S,HWC extras to my Tumblr, so if you're interested in seeing any of these little outtake shots, please drop by and check out that tag. One of the main reasons I stopped doing those posts was the general tediousness of prepping and uploading photos for Livejournal and Tumblr makes that process really easy. It makes so much more sense for little gameplay snippets, so I'm going to go with that. Why fight it?

I had to do a little sim business last night to prepare for shooting the scene with Tank, Frances, and Co. That included recreating one character that was missing from my restored backup hood.

The sparks just (literally) flew between these two. (And Kendall really does HATE Sugar Tits. XD)

Overheard behind a bookcase in a house on Bay View Drive, Belladonna Cove:

"...True enough. Some things are just personal. But we had to do the right thing to safeguard everyone against that source of evil. I'd hate for Jocosta to have died in vain."

"Dear sister, how I miss her."

"And I as well."

"Well, nevermind. That's a story for another day."

This is a sort-of drabble without a prompt. It's a piece of writing that may or may not make it's way into an upcoming story post, but I'm feeling excited about actually writing and so I felt like sharing it now. If you'd rather not know, it is a bit of a spoiler, but it covers some of the same ground as the previous JRO chapter. All that's new is a little glimpse of the scene between Johnny and Ripp that wasn't shown because Phi had stepped out to give them a moment.

Interested? I'd love a little feedback/speculation to help me get back in the writing groove.

... just not as soon as I'd hoped. I did make a lot of progress, but I also lost some images which inexplicably did not show up after I took them in Irfanview. (Drats! Was I hitting the wrong button?) There's still lots to be done, but the next chapter will likely surface before the end of the week. For now, you can ponder the meaning of this teaser. ;)

Yes, it's that time again. Time to be teased! I wasn't sure I'd get this finished before I left town for the next couple of weeks (Hooray for vacation time!), but then it occured to me that I'd definitely get the images ready by then, and I'd be able to finish up the text during my travels, if not before. You can expect to see this update at some point in the next couple of weeks. Maybe sooner than you think. ;)

Thanks for your patience during this break in updates! It's been over a month since I posted even that short little "Step into my office, baby" thing. It'll be nice to get back into it. (Also, are my photobucket pics really down again? So early in the month? *sigh* I really need to move the rest of those over to my lj scrapbook. Sorry about that, folks! And thank you for reading!)

A slight change of direction is in order. I lost my in-progress saved Semagic file for Chapter 32 (very frustrating, as I had ditched my back-up version, like an idiot), but I was blocked really badly anyway. The loss made me not want to write on that at all for a while, so I decided to do something entirely different for Chapter 32. It came together pretty quickly. It's a bit of an aside, but it will explain a little more about a certain mystery, at least from one side of it.

And yes, I've decided to use witches (and not just faeries). Changed my tune on that one, didn't I?

I'll have this one up in a day or two, if all goes well.

Chapter 31 will be posted within the next couple of days, if all goes well. My official deadline is tonight, and I expect to go past it, but maybe I'll surprise myself.

This teaser serves another purpose too. It gives me an opportunity to mention that I'm including an image or two that are a little steamier than usual (though recent entries have been moving along this trend anyway - ACR and the new OMSPs have been major enablers). I'll warn about this in the warnings, but just in case you skim over those, I'll say it here too: these images should be considered NSFW (not that you should be reading sim stories at work anyway, right? :P). I wouldn't consider it explicit, exactly, but the act they suggest is clearly drawn.
