Yessir. You shouldn't recognize these sims (well, the female appeared in one little preview I did, but I never did explain who she is). The woman is an original creation and the male is a gender switch of a Maxis sim. *hint, hint* (Good thing you can't see his face, or you'd know. :P)


That hair is by Miki, and can be found here. She also had some Maxis-match retextures on GoS around the same time Neena started doing them. She's one of the original Maxis-matchers. She did some really nice stuff.

You probably wouldn't recognize them, since they aren't Maxis sims (though one is very closely related to one — just a gender switch). They're recreations (or more like "creations") of sims that are only implied in the game, but never shown.

Photographing intense light is hard to do, but you did a great job!
The sim on the right reminds me of Chester Gieke, I'm making him over right now so that might be why:D

It's a little easier with sim photography, I think. You don't actually have to adjust the aperture or exposure time. The real challenge is in creating the right light effects in the game, using purchased lights or other features. I think I'm starting to get a better understanding of that stuff.

Hmmm. He does have a bit of a Chester vibe about him, but it isn't Mr. Gieke. All will be revealed soon enough... ;)

Very cool effect. Does the female sim have different coloured eyes or is that just the effect? Also I'm going through a list of the red haired Maxis girlies but I'm struggling to think who it could be. so excited for the next update!

She's actually an original creation. She's my version of a sim that isn't shown in the game at all, but would obviously have to exist in relation to a certain character. But now I've probably said too much...

Well the teser is great and I doubt your giving any hints away for those us who tend to ignore maxis people not more common to appear in a story. Plus you propably have a better graps of the Sim lore with all the town jumping you've done. For some reason the girl reminds be of Samantha Ottomens (or how ever you spell that name).
