Wordle S,HWC teaser

I've been doing a lot of writing for the next chapter. I still have a couple of scenes to complete, but it's really coming along. For fun, I thought I'd run what I had through Wordle to see what that suggested about the contents of the chapter. To me, it's more of a teaser than a spoiler, but if you'd rather not know, well you know the drill...

There are a couple of key scenes left out of this. There will be more of the Smith/Curious family in general, as I have only just broadly covered a couple of their scenes and will need to fill them in. There will also be a slight continuation of the scene on the front step with Johnny and Jayne from the end of chapter 33. Other than that, it's pretty much written.

One thing is certain: this is very much a Johnny-centric chapter. I don't think that should come as much of a surprise to anyone. What Will Johnny Do? Heheh. It's a good question. I still haven't fully decided on all the details of how this plays out. Almost, but not quite. It keeps changing on me.




I think I can safely say that this will be ready in January. It's entirely possible that I could get it done before Christmas at the rate I've been going (though the pics may take a little longer), but I plan to wait either way. New year, new chapter. :) That is the plan.

Also, the words "never", "wanted", and "brother" interest me. The only two brothers mentioned here are Ripp and Buck, but could it possibly not *be* Ripp and Buck?

The word "fucking" cracked me up. Just... I don't even know. I started laughing. I really am that immature, and the next scene seems as though it'll be emotionally traumatizing.

Also, does Erin come back in here? Because I see the words "take" and "clones".

And I spy "baby" in here. Do we finally get to know what's up, or is it just randomly in there?

((Edit: I also see Tank in there. Okay. That expands slightly on the brother theory, but I'm still wondering if it's referring to Ripp and Johnny rather than Ripp and his blood brothers. I guess we'll see.))

Buck has several scenes in this chapter. I'll say that much, but no more! Heheh.

I'd be surprised if a wordle of a chapter with much Ripp in it didn't have fuck or fucking register in the words, but I do think I've gotten better at using it in his dialogue. It's less frequent, but better placed. At least I feel as though it has improved.

Erin's name is also there. ;)

There is certainly some consideration of brotherly roles and relationships, but I won't say much more than that.

All very intriguing! Send me it anytime you feel like it can be pre-images even. I will have my in-laws (do they count as in-laws if I'm not married?) from the 22nd to the 28th, during that time I will be expected to be moderately polite and to not have my eyes glued to a screen permanently. However I'm still mostly stuck in bed so I'll still be able to get the beta'ing done, even the MiL doesn't come bother me when I'm in bed!

Ah, that might be a good option. :) I could always just give it to you with the notes on what scenes are missing and what they roughly will be. Then I could share those with you later. I have no images at all yet, so I'm not sure how much of an impact that might have on the reading of the dialogue.

I'll take a look and maybe post a beta version in the next couple of days. Thanks for suggesting it!

Does anyone else try to form phrases from adjacent words with these things? The main one I see so far is "never back away, Buck."

I also see Erin and Clones in there. So, return of the clones? We can only hope.
