Recolours of the FT toddler activity table

I found these recolours of the FT toddler activity table by traciandrus at GoS. I seem to recall that madame_ugly mentioned that she was sick to death of the one colour that's included in the game a while back, and at one point I was going to risk a recolour myself, but that didn't really get anywhere. So here you go! I didn't make them, but at least I found them for you. I love the Holy Simoly recolours at the bottom. That's such a good nursery set.

The "Mere Folly" by Kate (page 5) is really nice (it's a little bit high end looking, for fancier houses--looks nice in game, too). She has another decent one on page 12 (I don't know if I have that in game, though) A lot of the recolors are theme-ish so won't work for EVERY house (or maybe any at all).

The ones in your link are more what I was always looking for, though. JUST recolors, not reshaping the whole thing (I like the table still looking like a piece of plastic kinder crap).

You're welcome. Gotta keep the karma going. I'm always having people grant my cc wishes, so it's nice to be able to do that for others sometimes.

Some of those Parsimonious ones are really nice (especially that posh one), but I was aiming for recolours more than new objects (those object meshes add up, so I try to be very selective). I keep forgetting to check all the sections of Parsimonious. It took me ages after getting scared away by the clothes and makeup to go back and find the awesome flowers, masks, and hot air balloons.

I like the Fisher Price look of the Maxis table too, and I honestly never really cared that it only can in that one mushroom-appropriate colour schene. I really do love the new Holy Simoly matching versions, though, and I plan to use them.

Those recolors are nice, specially the simpler ones.

Pity that table can't be recolored directly, tho. It was really disappointing when I realized that (it was one of the first I tried after getting FT), but didn't want to clone the object just to do a anther recolor of it. :/

Thats what I said too. I wanted to recolor it, not clone it. But I finally just decided I wanted more colors, and if I can have tons of toddler pottys in my game, I can have tons of tables too LOL

Well, it's a very lovely and useful recolour, so I think it deserves some attention. ^_^ It's awesome. Thank you.

I have a question about the cloning thing, though. Does that mean each recolour shows up as a separate item or is there just one separate item form the original? (I'm assuming the latter, and that's not so bad.)

Yep. Every recolor is a different table in game.
Unforunately when you clone a "non recolorable" object, the clone is also NOT recolorable. I tried but no go.
I'm glad everyone likes them. They weren't that bad to make once I got the hang out it.
And I love Holy Simoly, if you look on my page I linked to a post by Ndainye who converted the bedding to the toddler blanket and regular bedding. Thats where I got these textures. :)
