Rave review (and a small spoiler)

These new OMSPs (one more slot packages, in case you don't know) by SilentLucidity at MTS2 are the greatest things ever. I'm tossing out all the other OMSPs I have in my downloads folder as we speak. If you have AL, they're amazing. They work like shelves, which you can shift up and down, and you don't need the magisplay tray to use them. Also, (and this is the best part) they can overlap each other.

Yes, that's right - you can completely overlap sims when you use them. There's no flipping upside-down, and no standing on the other sim's head! They're just wonderful for posing sims.








I'm pretty sure I would never have been able to pose them this close while using animation boxes without the new OMSPs. Between this and treeag's Freezer Clock, posing sims has never been easier. They can even touch each other. Imagine that!

Yeah, the tone changes quite a bit as I move into the Tank chapter (though there are still some laughs to be had in there). Tank has a lot of issues.

I have some terribly sad pics of a dead Ripp too (yes, again). I killed him with hailstones, and the sim keeps their eyes open with a very mournful expression on their face. It's heartbreaking.

Also, other horrible things. I've constructed a pretty rockin' nightmare, if I do say so myself.

I love how often you kill off Ripp for the sake of your story. You're meanest to your favorites methinks.

Yeah, they're fun. I overuse them, but it's been a while, so I'm going all out this time. There's even a supernatural sim in it.

They are a breeze to use, compared to the ones that require the magisplay tray. It saves you a whole step! :D And instead of having 763467 different heights of trays, you only have a handful of them, at slightly different heights, that can move up and down. You can adjust it to just about any height. (Like in this pic, where I lifted up Johnny to appear to be exactly in Ripp's lap.)

It really is amazing. AMAZING. I love them, and I've only just started using them.

The freezer clock is also a godsend. I shudder to think back to how hard things were before these mods. *loves them*

Thanks. :) Doesn't it seem sort of natural? I didn't think I'd ever be able to match up with what I had in my head, but this comes close.

aaaaand I just noticed some have angle rotation too!! That can be very useful for decoration and storytelling, very nice!!

The image look great, really, but I'm just so behind i don't get much what going on, and don't wanna spoil either :P

Though is true, some times is very hard to get exactly what one has in mind, but with all these mods, its does gets easier.

I haven't tried the rotating slots at all yet, but they seem like they'd have many uses too. I'm looking forward to testing them out.

I've only just recently started using the freezer clock, and I agree. VERY useful.

Thanks. It's the illustrated version, with more lead in to the scene. There's quite a bit of other stuff that happens before Tank kills Johnny.

I haven't shot the scene with Frances waking Tank up yet, but these OMSPs should help with that too.

The new OSMPs are awesome. SO far I've had my kid sitting on the frig, and trying some of the poseboxes from sim cave. There were so great cuddly ones, that I couldn't get right with just normal moving about. :)

Yeah, it would be easy to have a sim sitting on a surface of any height now, and they wouldn't even need a special object to place them on. It's so freeing. Having a kid on top of the fridge is such a cool idea. ^_^

It will be ready before the end of the week. I'm pushing my biweekly deadline just a bit (to meet it, I'd have to post tonight), but the chapter is also nearing completion.

I already had these in my game (and I also deleted the hundreds of OMSPs I had in my downloads folder), but I haven't had an opportunity to use them properly yet. And I had no idea that you no longer need the magisplay and that you can actually pose your sims very close without lapping. That is amazing! O_O

That picture spoiler is very well done! I remember that drabble... poor Tank. It seems his issues with Johnny didn't end when they were teenagers.

I DOWNLOAD THEM AND I LOVE THEM AS WELL. I didn't use them in the Grunt house, but I LOVE THEM SO MUCH. Aren't they the best things ever?

That drabble makes me sad, ST. Poor Johnny! I think Ripp's reaction is the most heartbreaking though. It kills me.

They looked really GOOD... I've downloaded them but haven't had a chance to play around yet. Different angles! I can have plants growing on walls! Stuff that should have COME with the game :P
