The candidates for heir, in order of age, are Neil, Rosa, and Cy.

(All the children of Nyssa and Constantine are ineligible due to Constantine being a game-born sim. Because if this, I tried not to feature much of Calliope in the story. I didn't show her any more than I needed to.)

In his short life, he has met the social bunny, been abducted by aliens, and been hit by lightning.  He has devoted his life to becoming a Space Pirate, so he can better understand the reason for his abduction. Or maybe get revenge. He hasn't decided yet.

Despite his short temper, Neil loves playing with children, and autonomously helps with childrearing.

Rosa developed a crush on her father figure, Constantine, and learned just how painful romance can be at an early age. Yet even the pain of this unrequited love is bittersweet, and Rosa plans to find more where that came from. If nothing else, she wants to surround herself with as many friends as possible. If these friends come with benefits, so much the better.

He had a son by his first love, Ira Inada, whom he named Thymus (Ty for short).

Rosa: Where Nyssa seemed more amphibian, she's quite reptilian and snake-like.




Cy: Pointy... very pointy, with a proud nose. He's almost 100% ideal plantsim in his facial genetics (but the skintone is from Nyssa).

So, yeah... there's a little genetic variation there.

I haven't decided who I'm voting for yet, but it will be either Neil or Cy. I want the pointed ears to go on, but I also like Neil's recessive genetics and how he doesn't have black hair for a change.

They both have good potential for stories, I think.

Yes. That was Nyssa's recessive skintone. The ideal plantsim is S3.

I know. I really wanted there to be alien eyes on non-alien skin by my generation, but the genetics totally crapped out on us. Oh well.

Yeah, I'll upload them. I really should do a post of new sims for download, since I have quite a few of them now. I really like his kids too. Too bad I couldn't use them as heir candidates.

Yeah, the plantsims ended up with very shallow genetics, because Nyssa and the ideal plantsim have the same genetics for hair and eyes: black and green. The skintone was the only area for a little variation there.

This was great. Neil totally stole my heart, but i sorta want Cy to win as his having a son already would lead to an interesting story. Oh well, I voted for Neil because he was the one that stole my heart. You gotta love a sim that gets struck by lightning and lives.

I agree. Cy has that interesting story already built in, but I agree that Neil is more interesting as a character. He's more extreme.

He's also very outgoing, which will be a great trait to pass on. I love the finger-gunning that outgoing sims do. I had a whole bunch of them: Constantine, Neil and Calliope all had 10 outgoing points. It was fun.

He actually got hit by lightning and abducted within 24 hours of each other on the last day or so before his transition. I was almost afraid to see what would happen next.

Cy and Rosa had nice stories but Neil has a lot of great story potential, too. He's the "normal" child in the family.

Neil's a good pick. The personality is interesting and the genetics provide some much-needed variety. I think he has the potential for an interesting story. I wonder if he'll continue his strange luck in his new life? (The abduction and the lightning happened all in one day - it was weird.)

I just noticed that the rule about replacement PTs has been reversed. When did that happen? If I had known that, I would have considered using a replacement ideal plantsim too, to avoid the black hair.

I'll upload the rest of the kids for all who are interested. I've been meaning to do an upload post with some of my interesting aliens from my prosperity hood too. I should do a round up for pixel_trade.

Yeah, those ideal plantsim eyes are pretty close set, aren't they? They're an interesting shape, though. I have every intention of using a replacement ideal plantsim, but I thought it was against the rules. It turns out they were updated, but nobody told me. *whines* Oh well.

Neil's pretty attractive. He's certainly not my "type," but there's no denying his cuteness.

I agree about Rosa being too much like Nyssa. Neil departs from the usual RR Legacy genetics, and we finally get the red hair that music_simbol started working in there. It can be hard to get those recessive genes to express when you start with a dominant colour like that.

Yeah, I like that LTW too, but the next simmer in line doesn't have Seasons, so Neil's going to be rethinking his life on the road. With Pleasure/Fortune as his aspirations, he has plenty of options (though, being created in CAS, he might just end up with 50 dream dates, because it will only take the first aspiration into consideration - that's a letdown).

I really wanted those pointy ears. Oh well. :)

I really should upload these sims for download too. The plan sort of fell by the wayside. They're packaged up, but I never did take photos of them for it.
