Just wanted to share a photo or two...

Did you ever take a sim photo that you just had to share right away? Yeah, me too. You'll see it eventually if you read my chapter of The Round Robin Legacy, but you can take a peek now too, if you like. It's kind of a spoiler, but it's not really a pivotal scene. Well, maybe, but... well, I won't go into details, but I'm on the "nobody cares" team here with Conner.







First of all, I'm thrilled by this pretty little scene that came with the apartment I downloaded for this.




The "staffage" also comes in handy when ACR works it's magic. ;)

Somehow, with the gorgeous setting, this scene on the bench comes off as romantic instead of smutty.




Especially with the fountain in the foreground. It almost looks like they're making love IN the fountain. It's just looked so pretty, I had to share.

I must also say that ACR is really making my stretch of the legacy more enjoyable for me. I left a lot of the story up to chance and risky woohoo. This element of surprise is so much fun in storytelling, and I now know why so many people couldn't live without this hack. It's so much more fun than planning out every little detail.

The goofy smile, the Puck Summerdream nose...it looks exactly like I'd imagine Helena/Nathan babies to look!

He ended up with all the best features, I think. He has siblings who aren't quite as awesome (well, they're cool too, but not so much). I love the goofy smilely mouth, and he has just a hint of those chubby cheeks... more like jowls on him.

This is my first breeding of two half aliens, with their recessives as they should be. The most interesting thing is that his has full alien genetics for skintone. Some of them ended up with a normal recessive (I didn't get any normal skin expressed), but Conner is a little MORE alien than his parents, in a way. How interesting.

Thanks. :) I'm really loving that apartment. It's a great little loft-type thing and has a cool balcony too. There's lots of places to take nice photos. I'm having a lot of fun.

He really did. My favorite parts of Nathan's facial structure are his cheeks and goofy smile, it's awesome it passed on to his spawn. I love Puck nose, as well. (That's the default elf face template nose, right? I love the elf face template..especially the evil eyebrows) Either way, he's adorable. :D

I read above that his personality is pretty epic. An outgoing, playful, and active grouchy sim. Conner's going to be quite the character, haha.

I always think about that randomly. If you you get two half aliens to breed, does that make them a full alien? What DOES that make them? I'm so curious with what you're going to do with them. Stella must be involved with this in SOME way, half aliens breeding makes her giddy!

I realized I haven't even played much with apartments. It's sad, really. I just keep brushing them off, I guess. The apartment is just gorgeous and pretty and serene and I love it.

By the way, what does the teaser say? I can never read the Simlish language. I keep trying to squint my eyes and I am not getting it. XD

Nathan is almost exactly like his PT, isn't he? I like that he's very alien, but Helena is very much like the "elf" template (which, for me, is the "faery" template, because it's there to be used on the Summerdreams, who are named after the king and queen of the faeries), but with the alien eyes.

Yeah, he is a character, no doubt. He's a club kid and is in the tabloids and stuff, since his parents are both famous, and one of them is REALLY famous.

I would imagine that two half aliens would continue to keep things genetically equal, but obviously, it can flip flop a little either way. Stella would obviously approve of this union. I'm not sure how much I'll reveal about the alien stuff in this story, but there will be some, for sure.

Since the apartments arrived, I've been playing with them a LOT. As inconvenient as it is, I have Nyssa in the top apartment in a high-rise building and I LOVE it.

The teaser says:

Yeah, pretty much. Other than the nose, he's exactly like his PT. (I think that PT's facial features are pretty dominant, every time he pollinates, all of his children have similar features.)

He's an "It Boy." Is he going to be one of those douchebags? (LINDSAY. LOHAN. IS. A. FIRE. CROTCH.) His personality seems as if it could go that way.

I tried playing them, and I enjoyed them for the most part, but then I got distracted with playing university for some reason. I'm bummed you can use apartments in university. It would be awesome, but then again, I doubt sims would be able to pay 1,000+ every week. Wait...could they?

Oh! Now it looks SO obvious now. I think I need to get my eyes checked. :P

Yeah, he's an "It Boy." Probably not quite that much of a douchebag (he'd probably just enjoy the firecrotch, instead of calling it that), but he's a bit of a hard case. I like that he's mean too. It give me this picture of a guy who's out to party and have a good time and just doesn't give a shit about the consequences. He's lives and looks like a rock star, even though he doesn't play any instruments (or at least not very well).

It would be cool to have apartments in uni. I guess the dorms sort of act the same way. The way time works in uni, it's too confusing to make weeks and semesters line up, so I see why they skipped it.

My main problem with apartments is how dates drop off their gifts in the hallway, and you can't pick them up and put them in the inventory. You can get the rose bouquets, but not the GIANT DJ BOOTH that takes up most of the hall now. D:

I noticed he was kind of rockstar-ish with that unlocked seasons outfit. (I love those outfits, by the way :D) I love mean sims just for that aspect. They just don't really care about anything and ~do wot they want~ (Though, nice sims are always good for those random hug attacks, lol.)

Yeah, I can see why that'd be an issue with uni/apartments. I think they fixed that reward gift/apartment glitch(not being able to put things in the inventory) in the patch. Though, I'm wary of using the patch myself, since the last time I downloaded one, ruined the sewing machine badge thing. :/

Though now that I read the other comments I realized he's Helena's kid :P. I'm so bad at recognizing facial traits (I think he resembles one of her kids in my game, Pippin, a little bit).

Nissa is cute too, but every time I see her profile, I worry about her breathing! (if she were real, she'd probably snore a lot at night!)

That's an amazing lot! I love downloading new lots and discovering the neat places they offer for pictures or stories. Though I admit I've had a bit of trouble taking pictures at apartments. I'm used to just plop my animation boxes in the garden when I need to pose a sim (and then I delete them), but with apartments, that's impossible.

So now you understand the fun part of having ACR. For me, it's not the random sex, it's the fact that my sims "randomly" choose their love life for me. It forces me to think about new ways to explain their decisions, and it's very entertaining to me.
