Photobucket: It uses my own special monthly cycle.

I was getting sick of waiting on Photobucket, so I went to take a closer look and maybe even contact them to complain, and I found the problem. This is why my images haven't returned:

The 'Monthly Bandwidth' number is the amount of bandwidth you have used within the last month. The month is determined by the day of the month you registered your account.

I signed up on 09/04/2007, so the images should reappear tomorrow, on the 4th. I'm going to rehost the images from my profile and main page to my scrapbook anyway, to cut down on bandwidth usage. I also see that my images only take up 373 MB of space so far on Photobucket, so switching to my livejournal scrapbook wouldn't be such a bad idea (if this happens again, and it might not). By the time I use up my 2 GB on the scrapbook (and Photobucket only gives me 1 GB anyway), the story should be over.

So, I just might update at some point over the weekend, or maybe next week. It depends on whether I go on an overnight road trip or not.

Here's a Sims-related story that might cheer you up. I recently sent Tank and Ripp to college...

Now all I did was move Tank in with Frances. The overachieving little snot had $4000 in scholarships so that would make little mister Worthington happy. Okay, so all I did was have them wolf-whistle a couple times...



It progressed really fast. We all know face-touching = tru wuv in Simlandia.


Then...brace yourself...






Kind of proves wrong the theory that Tank would always top, right? XD

This was all on free will; all I had them do was initially flirt a couple times. They are totally destined to be together.

LOL I switched from Photobucket long ago because my Sims get into such naughty situations all the time. No censor blur + ACR + Crammyboy's cock = serious adult material. I figure people can handle it. :P

I imagine Frances as having a little more experience than uptight Tank, so he gets to teach.

I can handle it- I've gotten so many naughty situations (some unintentional, as you know) in the short time I've had the censor blur removed and ACR in my own game that my eyes sort of glaze over whenever I see any sim nudity now.

Yeah, Sim nudity doesn't faze me anymore. Hell, if you want to see a naked person right now, all you have to do is drop trou and look in the mirror. Under our clothes, we're all naked. It's actually more of a challenge to make sure my Sims are clothed when I take pictures that I plan to post, so many of them walk around nude most of the time. Silly Sims.

I think Frances came to terms with his sexuality a while ago, and he's had more experience, whereas Tank had to either hide things from his father or was in denial before college. Maybe I was influenced by strange_tomato making Tank a virgin.

That does cheer me up. :D And I'm not surprised at all. They do have awesome chemistry if both swing that way, with those compatible aspirations and very similar personalities.

(That reminds me... I recently downloaded that See Them 2 program, so I can remove the censor blur. With ACR in place, the excessive blurring of the naked makeouts was bothering me, and it should be useful for storytelling. Yes, pervy storytelling.)

I think they even have each others' hair color as turn-ons. With ACR and free will on, they have progressed more in two Sim days than most do in a couple weeks.

I can't stand the censor blur after removing it. It does make picture taking a lot easier, plus often the blur hides more subtle gestures that can have a big impact on the storytelling effect. Yes, storytelling. Pervy storytelling with our Sims is a wonderful guilty pleasure.

I agree, my Photobucket bandwidth used to run out within a week or so, it drove me insane. (Also, I thought it was a little weird having my bandwidth run out so quickly) I've switched to LJ hosting (you get about 1GB with a plus account :D) and I haven't had any issues at all.
