For anyone without the time and/or inclination to read my Sim Storytellers interview, this wordle will also give you the general idea of what was discussed. It's amusing to see this spell out my overuse of such words as like, just, really, and pretty, among others. I was using a conversational tone, as I usually do in this journal, so I'm not really surprised (there I go again). Just is easily my most overused word in all of my writing. It's all over this story like a rash.
I was slightly amused by these word pairings: make love, take back, best Frances, real Tank, and Ripp wanted things. Nothing too, too funny, but it's always interesting to see what combinations these wordles throw out.
That's a really prominent just in there. I like how large "dick" is in that one too. (And appropriately linked to Ripp, so it says "Ripp dick.") Can you tell which update this was? I like how this one spells out "yeah, really" too.

Date: 2008-09-25 02:16 pm (UTC)I know it's a pretty pessimistic way of thinking about it, but I've been involved in other communities that I've eventually moved on from. I think you can form real friendships if you put the effort in, but I think it would probably have to involve some tangible interaction, like maybe writing an actual letter. Then again, pen pals come and go too. People you meet in person come and go. They do count as real friendships, while they last, but it's all pretty ephemeral.
That's not to say that I don't appreciate it while it lasts. :)

Date: 2008-09-25 01:52 pm (UTC)I had to try one for myself, so I found the one challenge I did here about myself and hubby and copied it in there...
I really like it! I think it sums our lives up just about right. :D

Date: 2008-09-25 02:01 pm (UTC)I'm surprised the word "farm" isn't in there more, and "money." I'm sure if it was done from Brian's point of view the three biggest words would be "Sex," "Money," and "Farm." Hee hee hee hee.

And I just noticed your new icon... very cute! It's like the old one, only better.

Well, I just adopted a beautiful little male, and he was so curious when I played with him at the SPCA. And once that thought stuck in my head, well, I'll have a pic of little Pascal up on my journal soon. LOL

Date: 2008-09-25 07:43 pm (UTC)I'll have a pic up tomorrow evening probably, assuming he's feeling well enough to be pretty for me. I had to leave him at the SPCA until tomorrow afternoon, since they require neutering before release.

Date: 2008-09-25 11:09 pm (UTC)Well, whenever he's rested up and ready for his photo shoot, I'd love to see him.

Date: 2008-09-26 02:39 am (UTC)I have no idea what breed he is. I got him at the SPCA (I absolutely love no-kill shelters) and he was listed as simply a domestic short hair breed, so he's almost definitely a mix of some sort.

Date: 2008-09-25 10:44 pm (UTC)I shouldn't laugh. One time (before my kids started playing this game) I had downloaded a patch from an adult sims2 website that changed the language in the game. It changed the word "woohoo" to "fuck" and "try for baby" to "cum inside." O_O No lie, it was a hoot.
Anyway, I had Vidcund (poor guy, lol!) try to get busy with a townie and he was rejected... and his memories said he was rejected for a fuck. :D :D :D :D

Date: 2008-09-25 11:07 pm (UTC)LOL - Rejected for a fuck. That's hilarious.
It would weird me out if it was recorded that way in the memories, though. Did it stay even after you removed the mod?

Date: 2008-09-25 11:45 pm (UTC)I got it at pandora sims2. It's still there, aaaaand it's been updated for Apartment Life already. :D. But no... even though it was fun for a time I can't take that chance with the kids and play with it again. :P

Date: 2008-09-25 09:34 pm (UTC)I remember doing one for this journal and the largest word was "HATE." It said a lot about my legacies. XD Now I feel like doing it again.
Gnome is so huge. ;__;

Date: 2008-09-25 11:12 pm (UTC)A lot of time the likes I use are when I'm saying "I like..." or to set up a quote or something. But I'm all about leaving in all that crap language anyway. It's a conversation, not an academic essay. I like typing the way I would speak.
Heheh. Gnomes and hate. That's quality entertainment.
