I don't usually like to post completely random things on here, but I had to make an exception for this. (And it does actually have a connection to a scene in a previous Strangetown chapter.) Maybe you've seen this before, but I had to share anyway. My SO emailed this to me.

So perfect. *snicker*

Too funny! Now that song is going to be stuck in my head, lol!

Random on this song... I was watching VH-1's "100 Worst Songs Ever" and it was on it. (I wasn't offended because a LOT of songs I like were on it, but whatever, lol) Anyway, they were making fun of it because they said Meat Loaf never did say what it was he wouldn't do. I beg to differ. He did say it, there at the end when he's singing with the woman. So VH-1... YOU FAIL, lol.

I beg to differ. :P I would say it's one of the BEST SONGS EVER. Everyone knows that.

Meat Loaf does say what he won't do: THAT! Come on, people! (And he does explain it by the end, but you have to actually listen to the part at the end. That = he won't screw around on her.)

The commentary on those VH-1 list shows takes vacuous to a new level. They never say anything worth hearing.

Next they'll try to tell me that AC/DC isn't an awesome band, or Don't Stop Believing is a terrible song. Pssshaw!

*giggle* Actually I do think Don't Stop Believing was on that list. I definitely remember Journey was on there... they did much talk about Steve Perry. :P

I loved probably 90% of those songs on that list! :D

AC/DC rawks. You Shook Me All Night Long is the 2nd best pole dancing song out there. What's the first? Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode. Yep. :P

Not that I pole dance, mind you... but if I did...

What a bunch of tools. I would have been yelling at the TV screen (but also happy they were playing awesome songs). Everyone likes Journey. Who are they trying to kid?

You Shook Me All Night Long is my No. 1 song for doing ANYTHING to. :P That includes pole dancing. I have plans to use it in this story too. I'm just saving it up for the right opportunity. ;)

I remember the 100 worst songs list show, it was really stupid but there were some real gems on that show. The worst ranked song was "We Built This City" and number two was "Achy Breaky Heart."

Lol Meatloaf.

Also, I've adored that song since I was a kid. It used to be on this tape of romantic love songs or something and I'd always be like: "PLAY THAT ONE." and then I'd ask my mom what he wouldn't do and she'd just say: "You have to listen to the words." which I think meant that she didn't know.

Now me and my best friend blare it in the car sometimes and sing along and try to make our voices warble just like Meatloaf's.

I found another great music one:

song chart memes
more music charts

Also a favourite song of mine, especially the Royal Trux cover (which rocks so very, very hard).

LOL, this is too funny. I always wondered what "that" was, but my mind is dirty, so you don't want to know what I thought it was.

The song got so edited on the radio that most people don't know. They usually cut out my favorite line "can you build an emerald city with these grains of sand?". In the last verse, when the chick starts singing, he says what he won't do...

Chick: I know the territory
I've been around
I'll all turn to dust and we'll all fall down
Sooner or later, you'll be screwing around

Meatloaf: I won't do that
No, I won't do that

The thing Meatloaf won't do for love: Screw around.

Though it does depend on where those tongues are going, doesn't it?
