Johnny isn't jealous either. He's a 2/4 on the jealousy scale, so he won't kick Ripp's ass unless Phi has a wedding ring on her finger. Phi is 3/4 on the jealousy scale (requires some form of commitment to get jealous, but that wouldn't really apply anyway), and Ripp is... you guessed it... 0/4. He really doesn't give a shit.

Nobody has made any move to woohoo anyone yet and I've played through about a day with them. I wonder when that kicks in?



Anyway, I'm liking this so far. You can adjust things to your liking, so it's pretty easy to control. I've finally jumped on the bandwagon. Go me!

Now, I'm off to play with Pleasantview a little... I'm working it up in the "background" for my story. ACR should be a fun time there.

I usually don't adjust things on the ACR. I only read the manual once and just randomly click on stuff :P.

Oh, you just wait until those three graduate. With a family sim as Phi and a half-family like Ripp, you'll better keep a close eye on those two or you'll be flooded with babies :D. You can adjust that, of course, but the silly randomness is fun too!

I've been toying with the idea of adding this for ages, and I think it'll be a lot of fun for the areas of the story where I don't have any plans. I can always control things if I have to.

I didn't know Johnny was half-family too! No wonder those three have so much chemistry between them, with all those compatible aspirations :D.

The first "condom rupture" I had in my game was amusing (that's how Cody was born), but it quickly got old, especially when my families grew larger. There's a a "next day pill" option (complete with "animation", aka the sim drinks a glass of water) for that.

Even with 3 bolters, its possible for them to not do much. Both have to be currently not busy, and there has to be an open bed/couch/hot tub/photo booth. :P You can also set how strong the autonomy is from really low to high. If you want them woohooing more, maybe turn it up?

Just be aware that this affects when you have sims on community lots too. Like if you're playing Ripp, and he goes downtown and you see Frances in the background out of your control, it is possible for Frances to use ACR to fool around with whoever else is on the lot. :P So be careful!

Oh, they were busy... busy making out. They all stood around congratulating eahc other and kissing, etc., so I wouldn't call that busy, really. :P I think they're all on high autonomy too. How long does it take them to get ACR "horny"?

Oh dear god... Frances really could decide to put the moves on Ripp... or Tank... or any number of guys he's hot for. LOL! This is going to be entertaining.

In a worst-case scenario, I could always exit a community lot without saving, so I'm just going to roll with it.

I'm suprised that you haven't had a lot of random woohoo. Johnny knocked up Cordi (one of my characters) minutes after I installed.

Yay, ACR! The many make-outs get annoying after some time. It's just like "YES, YOU'RE IN LOVE LALALALALA DO SOMETHING ELSE YOU'RE GOING TO DIE." They don't listen, they just get undressed and woohoo in front of their children in the living room. XD

Maybe they didn't woohoo because the autonomous setting is..set to medium or low?

It's a fun mod to play with, and I think most of us that try it never want to go back to playing without it. I know it certainly helps make up my mind on who my sims pair off with. Mostly because they're telling me to sit down and shut up as they're getting it on with who they want to. :)

Seriously though, ACR is fun. And you actually won't see as much autonomous interactions unless you put it on the highest level like I did in the asylum. When I have it like that it doesn't really do much for me either- only occasional flirting and makeouts.

I use clones. It's easier to control. I wouldn't want that many people from other hoods strolling by all the time.

Ooh, I've been waiting for someone to be a real guinea pig for this.

I'm interested in the nitty gritty. Installation and set up? Pain in the ass? I was a bit intimidated with what appeared to be a "you have to set everyone and the hood and. . .blahblahblah".

But are you using your "real" characters or just clones? Did you get your whole game working or are you still running only base and AL (I think I missed something somewhere).

I didn't even have to install it at all. It was automatic. I dropped it in the downloads folder, and then it set itself up when I entered the game. If the tokens don't install, you can just spawn the adjuster and "add token to neighourhood" or something like that. It's easy.

If you want some special setting for a sim (and the menu is easy to understand and comes with instructions), you have to do that individually, but the game decides on settings, based on the sim's personalities anyway, and they seem pretty fitting.

Those are the real sims. I'm just going to go for it. I'm living dangerously.

I have all the EP/SPs added back in now, and so far, so good...

It is so much fun when they start doing it all over the place! And it really is customizable, which is good. :) I think you'll like it. And it'll kick in soon, I was worried at first too but it does kick in. :)
