Sim Mania Challenge #2: Swimsuit Calendar

I've entered in the second challenge over at sim_mania. It's a swimsuit calendar this time around, so I decided to try my hand at creating a pretty sim photo. I used SnagIt to take the screencap (thanks for the recommendation, saunasims!). It's a nice little program, and I solved my wonkiness problem by changing the format of my screen in-game. I took advantage of Bon Voyage, and did the photo shoot on location at Twikkii Island. The rules for this challenge can be found here.

This way to a pretty sim in a bikini. (Okay, I can't resist... bonus points if you have any idea who she is. It has nothing to do with Strangetown... or does it?)

Gleee! :D I have no idea who the Sim is (other than vague ideas of a not-quite-Marilyn Monroe, mmm curves), but I'm happy to've helped.

Any comparison to Marilyn Monroe is a good thing. :) I love the look of curvier sims, so I make a point to include them in my story here and there. It's also nice to have variety (I'm looking forward to this element of Sims 3).

She's beautiful! Is she a combination of Jill and Buck? Cause that's what I was getting, although it may be due to an over-fascination with your Strangetown series.

No, it isn't Jill and Buck, though the genetics are similar, so it's a very good guess. She is the product of breeding Strangetown sims (I tend to clone them off a play around with genetics in different neighbourhoods), so you have that much right.

She isn't anyone from the story, but she does share genetics with a couple of the characters. Jill Smith isn't one of them, but she does have that hairstyle in green, so maybe that is what gave you that impression.

Hmm... I can't really think of anyone not in the story. She looks a bit like Cassandra Goth to me, though.

She's actually the daughter of clones of some of the Strangetown characters, not an outside character. I have some copies in different neighbourhoods, and she is one of them. I think she has just about the perfect mix of genetics from her parents too.

I think I know who the father is, but I'm not sure. Anyway, she turned out very pretty.

I hate how they call Sims who are curvy "fat."

The "fat" female sims look closer to the average size than the so-called normal sims do. The male sims actually look more like they're overweight.

OH! I can't believe I didn't realise it before. That's totally Ripp and Ophelia's kid. I didn't realise at first because she was blonde and Ripp/Ophelia kids tend to be brunette, but yeah. I'm almost positive that's it.

Yeah, you have it. She looks mostly like her father, but she has her mother's mouth and chin (thankfully... Ripp's chin is a bit much for a girl). Ripp actually has recessive blond hair and grey eyes.
