The poll has been closed and Nyssa won by a landslide! Thank you to everyone who voted for her, because I couldn't be happier to have her for my stretch of The Round Robin Legacy. Now, for a little glimpse at her new look...

Just setting things up here.

Nyssa Lioncourt...
She appears mysteriously in Sim City one day, and claims to have come from another planet. Moving forward, and trying to forget her tragic past, she immerses herself in the nightlife scene, and will eventually become a proffessional party guest, but is that where her story will end, or is it just the beginning?
(Yeah, I checked to see what her LTW might be in my game, but I thought that "become a proffessional party guest" was more interesting than "woohoo with 20 sims." I'm sure she'll have her share of lovers, but the career plays into a better story for me, so I went with that.

She's very pretty for someone without a nose.
And my fears about the cc skin clashing with my overall Maxis-match style seem to have been exaggerated. With the right cc, she blends in pretty well, aside from the slightly more defined nose and upper lip. (Though my SO was like, "What the hell is on her face? What's up with the maple leaf?" *snicker* What is this? Canadian propaganda? We can't have that...) My main concern was the lips, which were easily converted to my own style with lipstick, so all is well.
I've also decided that her story will take place about a generation into the same world as Strangetown, Here We Come, so it will provide a number of little hints about that too. ;)

I LOLed. It's funny that you mention this, because many Americans who travel abroad stick Canadian flag patches on their backpacks and suitcases. I *ahem* considered doing so myself, at various points, but I decided not to display any flags in the end. It proved to be a very entertaining decision, actually.
The scar was the FIRST thing I noticed about her face, actually. I just couldn't help but notice it. I forgot to add though, that the blending looks great, and I love that ponytail on her. I need an excuse to use it, but I doubt it would work in my present story.
Still, I'm super excited to see what happens next with Nyssa.

Date: 2008-10-30 05:32 am (UTC)Well, that's good. It's meant to stick out enough to give a hint about her past, anyway.
I really like that hairstyle, and it does seem to suit Nyssa well.
