Prompt: Why Frances doesn't like pirates, ninjas, and vampires
Characters: Beau Broke and Frances J. Worthington III
Wordcount: 100
Warnings: none
Beau had rambled on about the movie for what seemed like an hour. He had recapped the scenes, and even quoted the quotes.
It was just so... common. It was an amusement of the drooling, sweating, uncultured masses.
Frances was better than that.
“So, yeah… how about you? What did you think of it?”
“It was… interesting.”
Beau laughed. “You hated it, didn’t you?”
“Yes.”
“But it had pirates. Everyone loves pirates.”
Frances lifted his brows. “Well, maybe that’s the problem.”
Beau leaned back, carelessly crossing his arms. “Don’t take this the wrong way, Frances… but you’re such a snob.”

I'm willing to bet he's never cracked open a Stephen King, and that he believes in the superiority of classical over rock (though he'd be careful not to mention such views to Edie).
However, I'll also wager that being around Beau will loosen him up a bit. They'll both benefit from each other's company... Beau will gain some sophistication and Frances will loosen that silk tie a notch more. :)
