To get myself into working on the next chapter, I decided to do a couple of the weekly drabbles from the list at Sim Storytellers.

Prompts: Tenderly, Condom
Characters: Ophelia Nigmos, Ripp Grunt
Word count:
100
Pic count: 2

Note: Condom follows directly after Tenderly, as I have arranged them here.

Tenderly

As they waited for the cab to arrive, he reached for her hand, and she allowed him to hold it. The oddness hadn't quite worn off yet, and her heart still leapt a little whenever he touched her like that, with obvious tenderness.

She looked over at him, and he turned his head to meet her eyes. He smiled, but neither of them said anything. Words weren’t necessary. She could see that he was happy for her, and happy to be able to stand there, holding her hand.

Ophelia smiled. After several minutes, she spoke.

"That look really suits you."

Condom

Ripp loved compliments.

Sure, most people did, but him especially. It likely stemmed from all those years where he heard Tank getting praised while he was only criticized. He loved to get attention in any form at all, but never more than when it came from Ophelia. He all but lived for her approval.

They were easing into something more than just friends, and those small things were significant. Holding her hands was thrilling enough, for now. The rest could come later.

Still, he kept a condom in his pocket, just in case. You could never be too ready, right?

So cute! And I love that one drabble is more about Ophelia and the other is more about Ripp and they're both still unsure, but getting used to the togetherness. And he loves her so much and she knows and it's all good. Love these guys!

Also, I wish to see Ripp's new hair! I know he has new hair!

Final Comments: NEEDS MOAR JOHNNY.

Lol! It's actually my own creations Taran and Nor, though I can see where you'd pull the Ripp/Jill from.

I like the idea of them gradually growing more used to the situation like that. I can see it being very tentative at first, and they wouldn't really be very sure about it.

Haircut? What haircut? :P

Heheh. Needs MOAR Johnny, huh? He doesn't go along on this particular errand, because he's a busy guy (unlike Ripp, who has literally nothing better to do, now that he doesn't even have a band to play in) but you'll see him back at the apartment. I spent a significant amount of time writing banter between Ripp and Johnny for that chapter, so you'll get your fill, I'm sure.

I like that idea too. Right now, I feel a lot of it will be at Ophelia's pace, because Ripp has always seemed to give her the lead in situations like this. They also have to keep Johnny's feelings in mind, because I doubt either of them wants to lose him.

I KNOW YOU'RE HIDING A HAIRCUT FROM ME! I DEMAND TO SEE IT!!!!! (not really, i can wait)

Well, most things seem to need MOAR Johnny. Ripp/Ophelia scenes - NEED MOAR JOHNNY (to love them). Jill/Buck scenes - NEED MOAR JOHNNY (to scold them!). Everyday scenes with any character and any situation - NEED MOAR JOHNNY (to just exist).

Though, I understand that the poor dear can't be everywhere at once. He's only a sim after all. Also HURRAY for Johnny and Ripp banter! It's one of my favorite things!
