Strangetown Extras: Ophelia loves Johnny and Ripp

Well, it's official. Ophelia really does love Johnny and Ripp equally. With the return of InSIM (w00t!), I was able to even up the turn ons, so that the boys were both attracted to blondes with makeup and Ophelia is attracted to guys who are fit and have high charisma, which applies equally to Johnny and Ripp. With all factors equal, so is the chemistry.

Wow. That's a lot of bolts for one household.

Notice that Ophelia would be traumatized if one of them died, but would also hate to lose a dance competition. :P I hope the aspiration hit is less for the dance defeat.

In conclusion, this seems to prove that the secondary aspirations do effect chemistry. Well done, EAxis!

I do agree with you that not all love has to be sexual, but then, often it is. I'm of two minds about that. I could see it happening, and it would make sense to me, since people (and sims) are sexual creatures, and friends often do end up in bed together. It happens all the time. Then again, it really doesn't have to happen, just because it could. Not everyone acts on their desires.

Ripp's love for Ophelia is most definitely sexual, though, and I'm sure it is mutual.

That's true. Although I don't know about Ripp and Johnny's love for one another: I always thought of it as more "brotherly" than sexual. Although, as you said, humans are sexual creatures, its the only way we know how to express our feelings. Or something like that, I read it in a Psych magazine. Maybe Ripp's love for Johnny, since he is a sexual person, (sim, cough) but I don't see Johnny as sexual towards Ripp.

Yeah, you're not alone there. I'm still working through this, and how it might play out, and I'm not sure if Johnny ever really would be sexually involved with Ripp. I can see it from Ripp, who makes everything about sex, but maybe not Johnny.

If it did happen, it wouldn't be some instant thing, and it really might not happen. It is a very brotherly relationship, and very intimate, but whether it goes beyond that... I'm not sure. I can see that their bond might permit them to stay together and both be with Ophelia, and they could do that, remaining extremely close, without being sexually involved with each other.

I'd be lying if I said I know where they'll end up, but I see that as being the more likely scenario, if they do stay together (and I'm not saying they will).
