Sims 3: no-jealousy hacks?

Does anyone know if there is a no-jealousy hack for Sims 3 yet? Ideally, I'd like to have something that modifies it, rather than completely takes it away, but I'll settle for anything right now. Sims 3 sims may not lose as many relationship points with a jealousy hit, but they even know when someone is "cheating" (a bit of a silly concept when there's no commitment involved, if you ask me) when they're in another room or fast asleep. It's kinda lame that you can't even sneak around very well, and it's making it difficult to run my household of three.

I have no idea about the no jealousy hack, but I know that the Awesomemod has an optional setting for jealousy. I really don't know how it works, though:
. Use Awesome Jealousy Code [Optional - Default: Enabled]
Uses one of AwesomeMod's jealousy routines. Required if you want to use
any of the optional settings relating to this.

While we're on the topic, you said you've been using ACR 2.0, right? How do you like it? I was a little foggy on the gender preference changes in the read me. Are they temporarily unavailable with that version?

Date: 2009-07-08 09:17 pm (UTC)That's why I have the jealousy option disabled right now (well, it's not like I'm really playing with the Sims 3. Haven't loaded it in weeks!). I don't like to use mods that I have no idea how they are supposed to work. I never understood the romance mod, after all :P.
ACR 2.0. works fine so far. I haven't really explored all the options, but I've had no trouble with my sims carrying on their romance on their own. They use the new interactions and everything. What I've noticed is that it's WAY more customizable, including gender preference. It also includes something called "Friend Zone" that prevents the sims involved from falling in love (for example, if you have two couples in the same house, they'd stay only as friends with the other couple). You can also select how many kids would you like your sim to have on their own (ideal number of kids).
I've only been playing with ACR 2.0 for a week, but if I notice something odd with the gender preference and jealousy, I'll let you know.

Maybe I'll go ahead and add it.

Date: 2009-07-08 09:53 pm (UTC)A no-jealousy mod is definitely needed with your trio there! ;) Hopefully it won't be too long before someone makes a stand-alone no-jealousy hack.

Date: 2009-07-09 12:12 am (UTC)Yeah, I hope so. I'd love to see something as detailed as ACR, which gives a nice spin on the jealousy in relation to aspiration and personality, but I imagine that it'd be a lot harder to create that for Sims 3, with the more complex trait system.
