Despite the fact that I have numerous issues with the game, I just couldn't resist.
Oh, there will be reports. Opinionated reports. XD My plans are to make a simself and release her into Sunset Valley (or maybe that new Riverview hood? Nah, I have to see widdle Mortimer - I LOVE Mortimer). It's always the first thing I do in any sims game. It was ALL I ever did in Sims 1. I didn't play the premades at all.
Don't worry, I'll be giving it a go too... :) I'll probably, er... test-drive it, though.
Hee, have fun. Looking forward to the reports, it's interesting to see what other REAL people and not EA-drones or reviewers think of the game. (I actually never had a self-sim, the concept of seeing a 'self' have babies and grow old and die creeps me out.) Little Morty is cute!
Heheh. Well, there's no need to go into details, right? It was released today, so obviously everyone bought it. *ahem*
I'm hoping I can make a simself that actually looks like me this time. The last one was just okay. The double chin factor makes it a little more likely this time around.
Hehe. Yeah, I don't think I even have the skills to make a sim that looks like a real person anyway, but the options are rather limited for TS2 so I can see it's a problem. I think it's kinda funny that so many simselves end up looking so close to face template 1. :p (I don't quite remember what yours looks like.)
My simself isn't too bad. I recently made her even more like me.
I agree that Sims 3 is maybe even worse for options to customize the face. I'll have to play around with it some more, but it seems they've taken away options as well as add them, which is lame. I hope they come out with a Bodyshop sort of thing that's better than CAS. *hopes*
Well, I'll at least attempt to come up with a new title. :P
I'm not sure if it's appealing to me for storytelling in the same way, or maybe just not with the Maxis sims. I can't handle this prequel nonsense, especially when they insist on completely borking the timelines. I'm thinking this time around I might go the custom hood route and try some original characters.
Considering that I had an entire backstory for Kaylynn Langerak before the story was even announced, it'll be hard for me to disagree there. At least mine makes sense :P
Seriously, what they hell where they thinking (besides the fact that they'll make us "unlock" the babies with the baby EP, and that will finally remove the blanket - that's what I'm thinking they're up to).
*snort* Unlock the babies. They'll unwrap them like they do a face after someone has had plastic surgery. Then you'll see if your baby has arms and legs or. . .TENTACLES!!! Tentacle babies could be the "creature sim".
OR, if you hang the cocoon baby up (by the feet area) they'll form a crysalis and you might get a. . .BUTTERFLY BABY.
OR, if you plant the seed pod shaped baby you'll get a plant sim type baby ("we found you in the cabbage patch" will be a common saying).
I'm sure I'll have plenty of opinions. For right now, I'm finding the sleeping and "at work" periods of time to be excruciatingly slow and boring. :( The time doesn't move fast enough, even at the maximum speed!
Yeah, I agree with that angle too, but sometimes it's fun to just hop on the bandwagon too.
I'm not taking it too seriously just yet. I'll play around with my simself until I figure out how it all works and then maybe consider doing something that has story potential (or maybe not... we'll see how it goes).
