Date: 2008-12-21 01:22 am (UTC)He did. And he's on the path to being a rock star. *nods* It's true.

Date: 2008-12-21 10:41 pm (UTC)Never seen it before you posted about it, and then the next day it happens in our game! Could we possibly both get the same random bork at the same time, or could it be a EP/SP/hack glitch?

Date: 2008-12-21 12:26 am (UTC)On the other hand, Ripp is hilarious. XD

Date: 2008-12-21 01:07 am (UTC)I try to be so careful, but I guess I do add a decent number of hacks and stuff, so you never know. I did have that Eternal Flame (which seemed to resolve when I removed Monique's "talk to many" garden hack), and sometimes my sims see that scratchy omen of doom thing.
Oh well, if it goes, it goes. I make lots of backups, and I package all my sims too, with notes, so I could rebuild (though, honestly... I probably wouldn't).

Date: 2008-12-21 01:36 am (UTC)Most of the Very Bad Things are srs, like deleting Sims from the bin or moving them between hoods.
Do they gossip about it? Pescado says tat it's worse when they gossip about the scratchy thing.
YOU WOULDN"T? D: (Hell, if it came to that even I'd do it for you.)

Date: 2008-12-21 02:08 am (UTC)I never do any of those things. I think I'm pretty careful. The hood does have a lot of people in it now, but not nearly as many as some people's hoods do. Hopefilly, it will hold on until I get through what I can of the story (ideally, all of it *crosses fingers*)
I have to be honest. I don't know if I'd have the heart for it (or the patience - there are a lot of things I'd have to recreate). It wouldn't ever be the same, and that would frustrate me. There'd be things like differences in chemistry. I played Strangetown once where Ripp had negative chemistry with Ophelia and that's disappointing for me. What if that happened again?
I think I would recreate as much as needed to make an epilogue to the story, and try to clue it up as best as I could.
But, hopefully, that won't happen...
(Sorry for the billions of edits. I'm being careless here.)

Date: 2008-12-21 05:16 am (UTC)For now, I'll have to settle for using your work in the artworks in the story, which I'm still super happy about. I love them every time I see them.

Date: 2008-12-21 12:40 am (UTC)Random, but...dsjdskjd ADULT. Oh man, he's been a YA for the longest time. ARE YOU EVEN USED TO USE NORMAL WALK. I WOULDN'T BE. :(
no subject
Date: 2008-12-21 01:25 am (UTC)I know. It's been a whole year, and more now. I'm not used to the walk. They're so fast and efficient now! What will I do with all the free time?
Oh, and the YA walk is so funny, isn't it? :P Cracks me up. They're so lazy.

Date: 2008-12-21 01:12 am (UTC)Bad Ripp! You're meant to want Ophelia only, although I'm sure she wouldn't mind a character from another Shakespeare play...

Date: 2008-12-21 01:18 am (UTC)Ripp just really likes cats.
Ophelia won't mind a little kitty love, as long as he sticks to talking and back rubbing (though, I suspect this is just the beginning of that whole date sequence... talk, tell dirty joke, play, back rub, flirt, hug, kiss, make out... head over to the pet house).

Date: 2008-12-21 01:33 am (UTC)I really hope it's the same though, because if this went away I would cry. Just tell us that you have writer's block if your neighbourhood does go kablooey so I don't have to think it's never coming back :P
And heading over to the pet house made me lol :P
They should adopt Ariel ;) Ripp can have all the pussy he's missing out on again.

Date: 2008-12-21 04:46 am (UTC)(Heheh. I guess I'll have to pretend I was planning to end it there, huh?)
Ariel already has a home. She belongs to Jaxy and Zoe, along with Kobe. What a pair of troublesome kitties they are! So, yeah... Ripp will being seeing more of Ariel anyway. He seems to like her, because he autonomously hugged her (it wasn't planned in the photoshoot, but it was cute, so I used it).
