Sekrit Santa!

My present from the
sim_spam Sekrit Santa arrived today, and my Santa really went all out. *massive grin* To my delight, they filled one of my more difficult (to my mind) wishes: they created me my very own default replacement ideal plantsim! But that's not all... I also received two bonus sims in the package, and neither of them was Ripp Grunt (the obvious gag gift :P). I'm pretty pumped about it. And, you know, there's only one way to discover what this IP looks like...

These are my gift sims. They're great, and I'm really feeling the S4 love. I ~creatively~ named them Boy Sekrit and Girl Sekrit for this test run, but they will probably find their way into a story somewhere, with actual names.

Here they are in Veronaville, partaking in some paper, scissors, rock (yeah, that's the order we use around here, so just deal with).

Boy is cute and faerly *teehee* delicious. I've always liked the oh-so-very simmish combo of red hair with S4 skin.

Girl is just pretty. Very pretty. I love her outfit too. It's a bunch of Sentate stuff (from MTS2) that I've been on the fence about downloading, but I really like it, now that I've seen it in game. SOLD!

And now they're plantsims. How did that happen? :P
This is really like the ultimate surprise gift, because I have no idea what my ideal plantsim looks like. I have to make plant babies, just to reveal some clues about the ID's appearance.

So they make some babies "together." It's less fun than the method you'd usually associate with that phrase.
Lots and lots of babbies are made.

Just look at their little pointy ears! So cute.

Now, to age them up...

Yes, I'm liking what I see. The IP seems to have a cute little turned-up nose, nice lips, a proud chin, and those adorable tiny faery ears.
Now, how do they look once they're cured of plantsimism?

Yes, they're pretty interesting. I really love those ears. *grin*
Thank you, Sekrit Santa! It was a wonderful present!

Date: 2008-12-05 09:49 pm (UTC)Yeah, I love the whole S4 skintone with blond/red hair thing. :) It makes sense because they're sims.

Date: 2008-12-05 09:54 pm (UTC)I know, right? It looks really cool. (I love it, if you couldn't tell by my legacy's obsession with S4/Blond hair.) >_>

Date: 2008-12-05 09:58 pm (UTC)Yeah, I've seen that you like it. ;) It's pretty neato. I'm creating The Zimmerman family right now and Zoe's parents are both S4, one with brown hair and one with blond, and with light blue and grey eyes. They're pretty cool looking. Her parent's are intellectual, professor types, and they throw wild parties.

Date: 2008-12-05 10:08 pm (UTC)I totally forgot Zoe's last name was Zimmerman. That's fierce. Do her parents have Z names too?
That sounds cool! Do they smoke pot at these parties? (I always think of the mother from Jack and Bobby when I see a professor who smokes pot.)

Date: 2008-12-05 10:17 pm (UTC)And, yes, they have wild, mind-altering parties, where all their professor and bohemian friends come over to talk about philosophy and things like that. Like a good old-fashioned salon. Zoe was very under-parented, and she hung out with adults all her life like that (she's an only child).

Date: 2008-12-05 10:35 pm (UTC)These parties sound so cool. Seeing all those people who should know better on the "Bubble Blower" and the Juice flowing freely- it amuses me to no end, for some reason.
Really? Like those parents who say "You can drink, as long as you do it in the house?" I never understood those people/parents. O_O

Date: 2008-12-06 03:41 pm (UTC)Oh, in my experience, those people who are most intelligent often party the hardest. As long as it's civilized, and they sit around in lively discussions all night, the "juice" flows freely.
Yeah, I'm sort of thinking they just treat her as an equal like that, and she just hangs out with them. They'd be okay with her drink at a younger age than is legal, I'd say, and are probably very open about sex and stuff too.
I also DO NOT understand those types of parents so much, but they're out there. I wonder how much it throws you off balance? As a teen, you need something to rebel against, don't you? I sort of imagine that you'd either up the ante (which is how I see Zoe), or you'd just settle down and never step out. In combination with the only child thing, she's a little mature for her age (but just in some ways).

Date: 2008-12-06 08:40 pm (UTC)That's cool. People usually describe me as stiff, especially at parties, but I don't like parties so I guess that's why.:P
I agree so much. My mom isn't all THAT strict, but she has her rules and all that jazz. To be honest, I never really did rebel-not yet, anyway. (My coming out will probably be the Ultimate Rebellion in her eyes.)

Date: 2008-12-07 04:31 am (UTC)They said: "If you want to try drinking, we'd prefer that you drink here in the house first. That way you can figure out what your limit is and if you do get drunk, you can go to your room to sleep it off and not worry about getting taken advantage of."
I never actually took them up on it, save drinking wine at holiday gatherings from about age seventeen or so, but knowing that I could made me ...less curious about going out and trying it myself. Now I hardly drink at all.
My brother on the other hand....well.

*snicker* One of your poor sim kids got that bad track suit shirt!

Date: 2008-12-06 03:45 pm (UTC)I like all the really unlikely combinations of hair and skin. It's cool to see the eyebrows at the same tone as the rest of the face, or even lighter. I remember being slightly put off my this at first, because it wasn't realistic, but sims have their own rules (Dominant blue eyes! Recessive green!) so it quickly grew on me.
I know. *snicker* How lucky. It goes nicely with her sassy updo.

Date: 2009-01-09 02:45 am (UTC)Renuka is a very nice name, and I will use that for her if I end up using her as a character. Thanks for the suggestion!
