*dies with laughter*
They're just HEADS!
(I forgot to redownload the work uniform, so I got these floating heads. :P)

Phi: Ripp is HOT!
Ripp: No, Bella is HOT!

Ripp: Sooooooo HAWT!

The feeling is mutual.
(Johnny was hot for her too. :P My sims are so randy.)

Bella: Oh, some floating heads... that's completely normal. I live in Strangetown now.

Ripp: The flowers, let me sell you them.

Ripp: YOU TOO, CHESTER!

Chester: Okay!

Random townie: Is that guy buying stuff from a head? Too weird for me...
Bonus oddity:

What the hell happened to Mr. Doe's face? Is that even a makeup that comes with the game? He was never wearing makeup...
He's still pregnant too.
Pregnant... "for the last time?"
*snicker*
Oh, I love this game.

Ripp: *insert lewd head and/or face comment here*
HeadRipp is just a head.
On another note, I'm setting Thursday as my personal deadline to post chapter 27, part 1 (of 2). You can expect it somewhere between 5:00 pm and 11:59 pm, Newfoundland Standard Time (look it up - it's 1/2 hour ahead of the Atlantic time zone, which means I'm just that much ahead of the rest of North America).

Date: 2008-09-09 02:37 pm (UTC)My SO hates that so much - when people have a wide screen TV and stretch the image to fit the whole thing when it's not in a wide screen format (I can hear him mocking them now... "I PAID for this screen, so I'll be damned if I'm not going to use it ALL" *snicker*). Most people don't even seem to be able to see that there's anything wrong with the image, but it's very annoying to the visually sensitive like us.

Date: 2008-09-09 06:30 pm (UTC)I did notice that the game didn't fill the screen (like it does on my home monitor) even after we fiddled with the settings. But all the weirdness had disappeared (and everything looked great, not distorted or wrong) so that's something I could live with.
*snicker* I hate pan and scan in movies. HATE IT!

Date: 2008-09-09 06:41 pm (UTC)Really? Heheh. It can be pretty awful, I agree (like when it's way too obvious that you're supposed to notice something), but I like it if it's done right. I'm more into scan than pan - like still shots instead of something that roams around the room.

Date: 2008-09-09 06:48 pm (UTC)I had a driver issue before and it never caused problems like that. It gave me shredded screen shots.
I'm not overly concerned. If it IS a driver issue, that's an easy fix. I know it's going to be a spot of work getting the new machine all set up and happy. Once it's fully built, that is.

Date: 2008-09-09 06:54 pm (UTC)I did have to adjust the resolution and image quality when I reinstalled, but I wasn't getting anything crazy like that.

Date: 2008-09-09 06:51 pm (UTC)THAT I completely agree with. I do not appreciate when a program has "been formatted to fit my screen."

Date: 2008-09-09 06:54 pm (UTC)The worst is when they show Ghostbusters (best movie EVER) on tv. It's pan and scan. First time I saw it like that I almost wept.
