I'm back. Still married, almost two weeks later (don't laugh - some people don't make it that far). We had a great, relaxing honeymoon, and I even have a (very) faint tan. We arrived back home earlier today, and I spent the evening replacing my hard disk and restoring my computer. Next up: resintalling all those sim games again. Oh, it's a sweet misery.

Needing a sim fix, I went through my vast sim photo folder while I was updating my virus software. I thought I'd share.

Just a typical scene, but that's the whole point. I've missed all those little mundane things they do. And hey - they've cleaned up all of those books they usually have piled on the floor! I'm so proud.

No caption... but feel free to invent your own, if you want. ;)

I've got tons more but for starters...

I tried, but I couldn't really get into Tomine's stuff. My last binge was Transmetropolitian (I seriously bought all the trades within 2 months), and I'm also reading Freakangles (both by Warren Ellis).

SiP is weird for me, because I absolutely love Katchoo, and I started reading it around the time Francine went to lunch with Rachel. I still have mixed feelings about how it ended but it ran too damn long and clearly NEEDED to end. (I've cried like a little bitch over that book more times than I can count). Echo is sloooooooow starting but I think it's going to be good. It's just the concept needs the time to bloom.

I'm reading Buffy Season 8, but that's just junk food. If you haven't already definitely check out Dykes to Watch Out For (Also by Alison Bechdel).

And thanks to Scans_daily I have a huge list of Batman stories/trades to hunt down.
