Roof Raiser

Well, we did it. We're so married right now. Everything went very well, and we had a blast. You know the party is a roof raiser when the DJ asks you if you ever get tired. I laughed, I cried, and I have the ring to prove it. My memory panel has "had a great wedding party" in it. It was just about perfect, with enough mishaps and zany antics to make it truly special. We couldn't be happier.

Thanks for all the wedding well-wishes! We're off to Bermuda for a week now, and I'll probably do some thinking about Strangetown while I'm lying on all that nice warm sand.

Thank you. :) It was great. We got a lot of "best wedding ever" comments, and I think everyone really did have a good time.

Yeah, we really did. I couldn't have imagined a better day. :) We even have a little touch of drizzle for good luck, but the rain held off for the photos, and I'm told the sun came out for a minute when we exchanged rings - how cool is that?

Newfoundland is a funny word to say too. Nobody who lives outside of the island can pronounce it correctly. :P Absolutely nobody.
