I dropped in to check on Jill and Buck today, and was very amused by what I found.

Those Grunt boys are such horndogs. :P
I shouldn't be surprised, since they are triple bolters, but Buck is a family/fortune sim, and this woohoo want is very unspecific. He just wants to do it... doesn't matter if it's with Jill or not (though she looks game, doesn't she? *snort*).
Notice also that Buck is a giant teacher's pet, and has a better relationship with his prof than with Ripp right now. What a nerd.
Just wanted to share my amusement.

Date: 2008-06-08 04:27 pm (UTC)So, they're almost seniors now huh? I thought they were freshman in the story. :P

Date: 2008-06-08 05:14 pm (UTC)You noticed that, huh? ;) I've been playing them a LOT, that's why. It was the same with Johnny and company. I've had them as seniors for a long time. I wanted to get Buck his gold talent badge in sewing, and before I knew it, they were Juniors. :P I don't understand how people say it takes a long time to get through uni. It always flies for me.

Date: 2008-06-08 05:44 pm (UTC)Well, Buck should really have a gold talent badge in sewing! What can he do when he gets that anyway? I like playing Uni too, and therefore also don't understand why some people say it takes too long. Especially when I had Tank and the rest of his household in college, I wanted to prolong it because it was so much fun.

Date: 2008-06-08 06:34 pm (UTC)I have enjoyed making the clothes from the buy menu, though.
I've always liked uni, but I guess it helps that I haven't even owned it for a whole year yet. A lot of simmers have had it for YEARS, so I guess the novelty wears off eventually.
I just like having extra time with my sims. :)

Date: 2008-06-08 04:28 pm (UTC)Isn't enough that you let them do it at least once already? Greedy little nerd!

Date: 2008-06-08 05:18 pm (UTC)Buck is a goody-goody teacher's pet by day and a demon in the sheets by night (or day). Don't let those innocent clean-cut looks fool you. *snicker*

Date: 2008-06-08 04:33 pm (UTC)Wow, it still suprises/amuses me to see triple bolters. They're so rare in my game.

Date: 2008-06-08 05:20 pm (UTC)I think it's Free Time. The dual aspirations seem to have boosted a lot of my previous double bolters to three bolts. They used to be rare for me too.
Jill and Buck were glued to each other as double bolters, but now they're just ridiculous.

Date: 2008-06-08 04:54 pm (UTC)Buck! He's adorable even when he's being a horndog! The fact that he is a teacher's pet..it adds to the cute factor. Everything Buck does adds to the cute factor.
..I'm a Buck fangirl.

Date: 2008-06-08 05:22 pm (UTC)Jill's secondary aspiration is popularity, so she's been wanted to throw some parties, with amusing results.
Yeah, I agree. Buck is mega-cute. I'm a big fan too.

Date: 2008-06-08 05:03 pm (UTC)I tend to see that very often at college, actually it reminds me of an old game in which i had Tank waking up 'every' morning wishing to 'woo-hoo in bed', wish he 'always' fulfilled by night, and then wished it again next morning! ROFL! AND on the same house Johnny was doing excatly the same circle, but on the hot-tub!! Wish to WH on hot-tub/WH on hottub/wish to WH on hot-tub ... and so on
It was so hilarious and so easy to keep them happy!
(I certainly can't explain it thought ... :P )

Date: 2008-06-08 05:24 pm (UTC)LOL at Tank's morning desire for woohoo in bed. It makes sense, since guys usually wake up fully equipped for the task.

Date: 2008-06-08 05:11 pm (UTC)He's related to Ripp, and anyone who shares even 1% of Ripp's genes would also be as horny as a guy getting out of prison after 20 yrs. :P (And Tank too, I'm sure, once he gets there).
I could totally see Buck being the type to be friendly with his teachers. Bring them an apple after class, awww. :P

Date: 2008-06-08 05:27 pm (UTC)"as horny as a guy getting out of prison after 20 yrs." *snicker* Very true. I agree that Tank also strikes me as one who will make up for lost time one of these days.
Yeah, for sure. Buck is shy, but I'm sure he likes to chat with the prof about his assignments and stuff, since he takes it very seriously. I'm planning to show him in class in the next chapter. I took some photos for it already.

Date: 2008-06-08 05:27 pm (UTC)The Curious brothers are funny. I'll buy ONE double bed for that freaked-up house of theirs, and they all three will roll a want to woohoo in it. O_o
Funny sims, lol!

Date: 2008-06-08 06:37 pm (UTC)Nothing like sharing one bed with your brothers. I hope they washed the sheets frequently. (Who am I kidding? I'm sure Pascal washes them. LOL)

Date: 2008-06-08 05:33 pm (UTC)Family sims are supposed to be the opposite to romance sims, right? Well, I believe that they have more in common than it seems. My best sim couples have been family/romance sims :P.
As you know, I have ACR in my game. And I'm also playing a lot with 11 sims, so I can't pay attention to them all the time. But seriously, everytime I'm looking for either Rose Mary or Buck, they are doing it. In the sofa, in the bed, in the hot-tub. And it is HE the one who starts the interaction all the time, despite being shy and serious. You have no idea how much that makes me laugh. And they have just ONE bolt of attraction!
(well, except for the times I have to use the "next day pill" function on Rose Mary, because she gets pregnant all the freaking time).
Yeah, those Grunts are a bunch of horndogs :D. I can't imagine how would your sims behave if you had ACR or Inteent! O_o

Date: 2008-06-08 06:42 pm (UTC)I'm amused by your randy Buck. :P Always with the "try for baby" too, I see. I think Buck is just meant to be a family sim, don't you? What did you give him for a secondary aspiration?
I'm so tempted to try ACR just for the comedy it would create. I have a lot of triple bolters now.

Date: 2008-06-08 07:37 pm (UTC)Before my Neighborhood exploded, I gave him the "Pleasure" secondary aspiration because storywise he'd have some sort of breakdown and decide he's sick of leaving aside his own wants and needs for the sake of others (his dad and his wife), so he's enjoy life from now on. Plus some of the Pleasure perks suited his culinary career path (like writing the restaurant reviews).
But now, I'm really not sure. I've not used his aspiration reward points yet, but because he's having a mental meltdown pretty soon (storywise), he will seek a radical change in his life. So, I'll just roll the dice (legacy style) and see what he gets :P. I think I'll have a laughing fit if he gets the romance one!
Oh, ACR is the source of much comedy (and many headache) in my game. The only three bolters I had (Ripp and Helena) were almost annoying once the ACR bug bit them. Yikes! :D

Date: 2008-06-08 09:19 pm (UTC)Jill and Buck are an awesome couple, we're totally putting them together in our neighbourhood. Also, we played with Stella Terrano today and we had to give her that pilot hat. It just didn't look right without it now.
