New Header Image

I decided to change my header image again. There's quite a different feel to this one. What do you think?

Bonus points to anyone who can knows where I took my inspiration for this image. It's a bit of an homage. ;)

I'm a long time lurker of your story, and have been for a long time but I wanted to say how much I love this picture. So artistic and lovely.

Inspired from the Smiths album cover, "Strangeways, here we come?" At least that's the vibe I get from it.

You're right! It's not a perfect replica, by any means, but I was definitely keeping an eye to that image while I was working on it. As I'm sure I've mentioned, my title comes from that title (in the sense that Strangetown is being paralleled to Strangeways prison as both a word and an idea), so it seemed only fitting.

It features Johnny, but it implies another character (or two?) in the conversation, that Johnny is reacting to, located just outside the frame (or on the other end of the camera).

I'm glad you liked it enough to come out of lurking. Thank you. ^_^ It's always nice to hear from someone new.

The image I was inspired by was actually cropped from a movie still (East of Eden, 1955), so that's a great guess!

Thank you. ^_^ I have to give all the credit for the composition and styling to the source material (the film and also the album cover), but I think I managed to grab a fairly nice little Johnny moment there (and then photoshopped it into submission).
