It is with intense pleasure that I introduce to you, Damon Bigfoot:

I mean, c'mon! He's obviously the coolest Bigfoot ever, to be rocking a mustache like that! XD

This confirms that Mirablu's Townies and NPCs can generate Glasses and Facial Hair hack is one of the best things I've ever added to my game. Do yourself a favour and run over to MATY to download it immediately, if you haven't already. You will laugh. You will cry. You will have many, many mustaches! :D And nothing is funnier than mustaches.

This gem of a bigfoot also owes his good looks to the face template replacement set by zazuzu (also at MATY), which was the only set I found that seemed to have "more interesting" as its goal, rather than "watering down extremes." But hey, my search wasn't exhaustive, so if you know of other interesting and non-boring face template replacements, I'd love to hear about them! I'm all about introducing new and diverse genetics to my Tomato Legacy hood.

You simply must get that hack! It's pure gold. I wish it enabled everything in the glasses and facial hair categories, instead of just basegame stuff. I want townies to generate with all sorts of weird stuff on them. Even makeup and accessories! :P Maybe it will be updated someday.

I enjoy the default templates, as you know, but I've seen them over and over now, so I was looking for something new. There is a LOT of bland sameness out the for download. The most common treatment, from my observations, is to make everything just a little more like face two. I think I'm going to take a replacement set on as a project one day. It would be awesome to have exactly what you want for templates. It seems to involve a huge amount of work, though, so maybe I'll pick away at it over time.

I didn't see any images on zazuzu's post either. I'm not sure there were any. I decided to give it a shot based on the comments, and I've liked most of the faces I've seen. If you're unsure, you could download them and then browse through them in BodyShop.

Oh, I did get Mirablu's -- right before I commented ^_^

That's true, I can browse the faces in Body Shop, and also it would be easy to take the templates back out if I don't like them. It would be nice to have some different faces as starters for new sims, too.

Nice. If anyone can make the most of its funny potential, it's you. ^_^

That's the way I was looking at it, too. I've pulled it out a couple of times, when I wanted access to the original templates again. It's mostly for generating some interesting new blood in my legacy hood.

I remember someone was planning to make a replacement set from pixel_trade sims at one point (I think it was [livejournal.com profile] mjo5oh, maybe). That would have been an awesome thing to have.

I have thought about making a set using pixel_trade sims. But like you said, it would be a huge project. All the checking to see that the different ages and genders match. Breaking it down into smaller chunks would be key.

I think I'll get it, and play around with it later (after I go run some errands).

That's the worst of it. Every age and sex has to have its own face created. Then again, it's a good opportunity to increase or decrease the diffrences between the sexes with any facial structure. Some of the meshes change it too much, and some not enough.

They really do. Some faces aren't even recognizable when they're gender switched. I'd love to see a set where most of the females got tiny versions of the male nose, and where male lips didn't shrink to nothingness.

They show up with mustaches in CAS too! With hilarious combinations xD

Eeee! so cute! *hugs him*

I love how the arc of his tiny eyebrows echoes the swoop of his giant 'stache.

Haha! I didn't notice that, but he obviously puts a lot of thought into his styling.
