I'm so glad they added that modify neighborhood terrain cheat with FreeTime. It's really useful. Behold my newly useable residential area of Bluewater Village.

Placing a lot tends to correct some of the terrain problems, but doesn't allow for fine tuning of the slopes and such. I think this actually looks pretty reasonable now.

I've been playing with the Ottomas family in that family farmhouse (in the middle of the three houses on the hill). They're pretty fun, and that house actually fits them all (including the twins, Sarah and Jacob), after I moved some walls and added some bunkbeds. I feel like such a pro at high density simming.

Here's another shot of the fiasco at the Summerdream lot. Yeah, we had some flooding. Luckily, a combo of the lot terrain modifiers and the hood terrain modifiers cleared it up nicely (after I messed around with it for ages, that is). The lot adjuster was also very helpful, after I got over my intense hatred of it.

Just kidding, Lot Adjuster. You're a'right. ;)

Also, smug, bratty toddler Johnny is smug and bratty. Heehee. Thanks for sharing the icon, [livejournal.com profile] beyondheroism!

Sheesh, I didn't even know about a modify neighborhood terrain cheat. I gotta try that. It must come in handy for placing lots that look like they'll fit somewhere and just.... don't.
