Sand in the backyard?

Does anyone else get this sandy effect off in the distance from the lot view at the Summerdream house? I've seen it on other lots too, like in Bluewater Village, and I was wondering what causes it. Is it the same in other people's games? It's a pretty minor thing, but it kind of bothers me.

I've had it happen too, I believe it's because of the depth of the pond. If you remove the pond, and put in another, more shallow the sand goes away, at least in my game :)
