Super Nitpicky Eye Replacement Project

I've been struggling with health problems lately (though I'm pretty private about such things, so I won't discuss the details outside of f-locked posts), but Sims projects have been a welcome distraction, and help to make me feel a little better. This morning, I spent some time on a cc hunting and gathering spree (lots of great stuff out there, which is nice to see — keep it up, creators! ^_^), and now I'm working on perfecting my personal set of default replacement eyes, as illustrated below:

As you can see, it's a pretty finicky tweak, but it makes all the difference to me. Phobia shared the bmps images of her eye set, so I've been working with them in Photoshop to make some new colours. Many of them will be pretty subtle variations, but I'm sure I'll probably share them when I'm finished.

I guess I should come up with a clever naming theme. It seems the thing to do with eye sets, and I've always liked them. They make me smile.

I'm glad you're changing the eyes up! The new skins look really good, so seriously customizing your game to this extent must feel great.

I always said that If I had to name an eyeset I would name them after Dresden Dolls songs, but you don't like them. Name them after songs that you like, ST! What about Morissey?

Yeah, I realized it was pretty easy to make these slight adjustments to Phobia's colour in Photoshop, so why not go for exactly what I want, right?

I'm not sure if I'll go so far as to make custom eyes and contacts (you know how my attention span is...), but I have my replacement eye set nearly complete. I use one package that contains all the eyes.

That's an idea. It doesn't necessarily have to be a musical theme, but that would be fun.
