I got some playing in today. Just mindless playing. I needed it. Between work and everything else, I needed a little simming break. I aged up a few more uni students, and witnessed a real gem of a transition outfit, so I thought I'd share.
Yeah, it's because I don't send them home and play out the last few days after graduation. Are you surprised? ;)
Stella's fashion sense is AWESOME, okay?
Yeah, I'm busy beyond imagining. I stole that time to do the sim_scenes challenge and have barely gotten in front of the computer since. It's not all bad. I've been doing some family stuff and social stuff (like on Saturday night, I went to see a band play and stayed out way too late—haven't done that in ages), as well as work and work and getting ready to move and more work. But after this week, I have two weeks of holidays, so I'm pumped.
Hehe, I am. I usually send them home right away unless I need them to stay for a particular reason.
OH OK. I see. She's so edgy, she doesn't follow trends- she starts them.
Well, I hope you enjoy your vacation, ST. You deserve it. You've been killing yourself over these last few weeks! Will work slow down any time soon or will it continue into the fall?
Nah, it'll be busy in the fall too. We have a couple of major things we're working on that'll all happen in Sept., so I'm trying to get ahead in the planning right now. It'll all come together, I'm sure. (It always does, even if it sometimes involves some blood, sweat, and tears.)
When do you finish up with your job? Have you already?
I'm glad that everything is working out for you, ST. It proves that good things do happen to good people. :)
I finish up this Friday. There are rumors that say they might ask us to stay another week (and that the school would pay us rather than the State program we're participating in) but I doubt I will. I don't like it much anymore, I just want it to end.
