Poor Nervous
Aug. 28th, 2011 09:51 amPoor Nervous Subject. It's so easy to topple his fragile mental state, especially with the chain of events with him and the Beakers and Olive that I used in my story. I feel really bad for him.
I spent some time on my uberhood to get everyone up to where they were when I had to abandon my corrupting Strangetown, and finally came to point where Olive decides to go looking for her son and heads start to roll. I followed the same order of deaths until Olive passed away of old age alone in her mansion and then I moved Nervous in on his own (because I wanted it to be called the Subject household, not the Specter household). Before the cut scene was even over, he was broken on the ground. He just sort of fell out of the taxi onto the road in a heap. Poor guy.

She may have been a monster, but she was his mother. For someone who has never known a family, and wishes with all his heart for a family, that's a pretty cruel blow.
