WIP: New Header Images

I've started on the new header images I mentioned before, and I'll be posting new ones as I create them, so you can expect to see them changing from time to time. My first was this one of Frances and Beau, because I just happened to be playing on their lot (yeah, they've been living on the same lot in-game since like forever) and Frances struck this autonomous pose:

He's a little dramatic at times, when nobody's looking. ;)

Check out my page for the full header. I also took a look at the HTML involved for randomly loading images and I must admit that it's making my head spin, just a little. I guess I'll just have to keep picking away at it, and maybe find another tutorial or two (or three). I really want to get the random header image thing to work out.

The love story between Frances and Beau is one I'm really looking forward to telling before I finish this story. It will have its relevance to the story as a whole in its own right (one I would have granted to one of the more major characters, but I decided to give it to them after the arrival of Beau — he's very pursuasive), and I think their personal story is also one of my favourites, just on its own, as a love story.

Crazy Mixed-up Creature Sim

Ever wonder what an alien/zombie/vampire/werewolf/plantsim/witch would look like? Yeah, me too.

The gaping zombie jaw makes it easier to see the vampire teeth!

The eyes you see are the ones I'm working on for an alien/werewolf default. It's my own recolour of Phobia's alien eyes, to create a golden yellow to match the werewolf eye (I'm using Phobia's Something Vague, on a Maxis sclera). I'm making my own set of creature skins to match aledstrange's Maxis Improved facial default replacement set, using her creature faces as a starting point. If you're a Maxis-matcher, you should check them out (Part One and Part Two), especially if you're a purist like I am. I just love them! ^_^
