I'm sure they'll get their share of hot moments, now that the nervousness and excitement of that first encounter is behind them. I'm glad you liked that outcome. I think it's the reaction to the mishap and the way it brings them closer that makes it a "good thing" in the end.
Yeah, Phi is very lucky, though if things keep up at this rate she may have trouble having enough time and energy for them both. That's something I've been thinking about lately. There are going to be times when she doesn't want all that attention, and Ripp alone would be a lot to keep up with, I think. The dynamics could be pretty interesting once things settle down a little (if everything works out, that is).
