I've been playing around with recolours of my edited texture for the TSS jeans and tee mesh, and I now have a collection of them to share with you. I'll probably revisit this later to make white and some other colours, but I'm going to share what I've done so far.

My Christmas gift to you all...




- Texture edit and recolours of the mesh conversion by cloudlessnights

Colours (from left to right): black, Stella purple, brick red, periwinkle, army green, navy blue, and faded pink




Colours (from left to right): light grey, denim blue, forest green, tangerine, original khaki brown, grape purple, and pea green




Colours (from left to right): light grey (repeat), true blue, bright red, lime green, original khaki brown (repeat), bright purple, bright pink

These pics were a lot of fun, and I caught some good moments. (How cute is shy dancing Nervous?) The slap dance in the teaser pic is my favourite. It was very amusing to watch them do a choreographed dance routine together.

Awesome. It would be so much better if I could get this mesh as a liberated top, to pair with any bottoms, but this is as good as it gets for now. I'm going to do some more neutral recolours later, and whatnot.

You picked some very nice colours, and I like how the personality of your characters keeps shining through everywhere :) Like cheerful Beau in his pink shirts, and shy Nervous in black and grey.

As a top-only this would indeed be lovely, shirts for men are very much needed. But this'll do great for now. Thanks :D

Nice shirts! I may have to get some of these, there's not enough plain clothes in the game. (Not all, though, 'cause I'm simply too lazy to scroll past that many recolours. You know what TS3 needs? Recolours of clothes working the same way recolours of objects does, so one mesh only shows up once in the main menu. That'd be the best.)

Yes, they will work because they're made using a teen to adult conversion, which uses a totally different mesh. (I r annoying knowitall. :P)

Okay, I deleted them from my game and downloaded my files, and it still worked fine for me. Are there any problems that can occur when creating clothes in Body Shop that I'm not aware of? Does it matter which Body Shop you use? (I think you have AL anyway, right?)

I'd like to know if anyone else has actually gotten them to show up. That way, I'd know if it was an issue with my files, or something else. I hate the thought of having people download something that doesn't work. :( I was so excited to finally offer a download.

I figured it out. It's this (from the tutorial at MTS2):

Make sure you do NOT distribute the file from My Documents \ EA Games \ The Sims 2 \ Projects \ MyProjectName - there will be a MyProjectName.package file located in your Projects folder, but this is an unfinished file. It will not work in anyone's game. Make sure you only distribute the file from SavedSims as described above.

Now I just feel stupid, because that's exactly what I did.

Anyway, I fixed it, and now the link will take you to the right files. Sorry about that!

Also, I love your recolors! I love the purple on Johnny in the first one and Tank's green too. And then I love that you put Franny in purple for the other two, because it makes me think of Xel's purple Franny.
