Always something new

It amazes me how many things I'm still discovering in this game. I've had Pets for ages (it was my first EP), and I've never seen this.

Look at him go! He really wants to kill that remote controlled car. It makes me wonder what other objects have interactions for cats and dogs that I don't know about.

The wolf dog is Vermillion, pet of the Curious family. He used to be a wolf named Noodle, and Nervous owned him for a while, but I gave him to Pascal because things were getting crowded down there. He used to be white too, but I recoloured him to look more like a character from that Jungle Book Shonen Mowgli anime that used to air on TV after school back in the day. As a long-time fan of the books and just about every other adaptation of the story I could get my hands on, I did enjoy that cartoon.

All of my sims seem to own strays (and many of those are wolves). Maybe I should set up a little Mowgli on a Jungle Book themed lot for kicks one day.

AWW, he is precious! I never knew that dogs could play with toys either! That's awesome.

I never seem to build up a high enough relationship with my strays to be able to adopt them. Any tips?

Oh god, so cute! I love big, bushy dogs (or wolves XD). They're so snuggly. I also really love his coloring.

I was never a huge Jungle Book fan. I've only ever seen the Disney version. My favorite in that was Bagheera though.

My favorite thing about the pets is something I discovered when I was trying a pet legacy challenge once. (It's like a regular legacy but only 5 gens for both pet and human and you have to mate your founder pet with a stray, keep at least one puppy from the litter and mate that one to a stray, and so on.) It was the first time I ever had more than one pet on a lot at once, and I found that whenever you gave one a treat, the others would crowd around and beg for treats too. Just like real life!

(I know, probably old news, but I thought it was incredibly cute. :D)

I miss the RC car. I've never played with it since I heard it can cause Very Bad Things to happen (what, I have no idea though.) Maybe someone else has more info on that or maybe it was just a hoax or something??

I find it so cute when puppies line up to toddlers for a cuddle.
Sometimes my strays don't accept the give treat interaction and growl on the sim giving it to them, reducing also the relationship score. But they always accept strokes, so usually I use a treat-stroke-stroke-treat rutine until further options are available.
I'm still waiting for my first sim to turn into a werewolf:)

Large dogs will also play with their own reflection in floor sized mirrors. It's really cute.

Do cats interact with the RC car?

RC car OM NOM NOM. Breakfast!

He's a very russetty kind of wolf, isn't he? Not at all the colours I expect wolves to be.
