Download: PlumbBottoms Cloth Diapers

I posted this a while back as a followers gift on my tumblr, and now I'm finally getting around to posting it here. They’re PlumbBottoms cloth diapers, which come in 12 colours inspired by The Sims 2.
As a cloth diapering
Here are some details from various angles. The tag has a teeny tiny logo on it. :)
- No mesh required, as they use the basegame diaper mesh
- Available as everyday, pajamas, and underwear
- All colours are enabled for both male and female
- Hand-painted textures by the talented Mr. Tomato
- Sims don’t need to do laundry, so why not? ;)
Here's the .psd file if you'd like to make some recolours. :) Use the textures however you like. I'd love to see more of these (patterns, anyone? ^_^) and more outfits that include them (and please drop me a line if you do make something, so I can check it out). The settings in the .psd file should work well with medium toned colours, but you will likely need to adjust the highlights and shadows for lighter and darker tints/shades (and there are extra layers included in the file for that).

I foresee diapers paired up with Tees in the foreseeable future ;) Thank you!!

The diaper and shirt combo was something I was hoping to get around to making at some point (since there are a couple of cute meshes like that), but I would be all too happy to see you make something. :D I'd especially love to see a nice clean white texture for a tee (I don't think I've seen one anywhere), because I could then use it to make a PlumbBottoms logo tee.

I've done the Great Cloth Diaper Hunt two years in a row, so I know a lot of different brands.

I've never participated in that, but since you've brought it to my attention, I may check it out this year. Thanks!

I am still far from being a parent, but I've always been interested in cloth diapering. Is it.... very difficult? Where do you store the soiled diapers?
(sorry for the off topic question. I've never spoken to anybody else that cloth diapers!)

I was like that, too. I remember coming across information on the more modern styles of cloth diapers well before I had any intentions of getting pregnant and getting really interested in them. I'm a bit of a hippie that way and use a lot of other reusable/cloth products for myself and my home, so it was right up my alley anyway, but they were also so CUTE. I was excited to get back into looking at them once we decided to go for it.
I don't think it's too difficult at all. It's really just a little more laundry (one load every 2-3 days) and the occasional use of a diaper sprayer for solids (which makes the job fairly painless). Most people store them dry now, in a wet bag/liner in a regular large garbage pail or laundry bin. Then you just dump the whole bag into the washing machine when it's full.
If you want to learn more about them, I recommend searching "cloth diapers" on YouTube. There are a lot of really great video series that break down all the details. I found that more helpful than reading about them, because you can actually see what they're talking about.
I don't mind the question at all! :) I'm always happy to see someone else interested in cloth diapering.
