Sims 3 Generations

I just watched the Sims 3 Generations Producers Walkthrough on YouTube and I really liked what I heard there. For one, they said they really listened to what the players have been saying they want, and that they want more opportunities for storytelling in the life of their sims.

++!

It looks like a nice EP. At lot of the more recent expansions have been appealing to me more and more. If my computer could handle it, I think I'd probably pick a couple of them up. I really hope they continue in the direction they seem to be going in. Could it be a return to form for the series?

I didn't look at the walkthrough. I avoid those in general because I get ridiculously excited for these things. I'm the same way with movie previews. ;)

But yes I agree with you and actually playing TS3 again cemented for me more that it is a better game. It is sad leaving some things behind (like a lot of the premades, and the TS2 characters we know and love are just non-existent or completely different). Actually, I bet a lot of the Strangetown characters will be back in a later EP along with aliens. We have to have aliens, EA, COME ON!

Ahem, tangent. >_>

Anyway, yes it took a few more EPs but I think TS3 is going in the right direction.

I suspect that the green, red and blue skintones were their way of saying "look! aliens!". I'm hoping for a bit of abduction action in a future EP though. Or at least the re-introduction of pointy ears. They put the pointy ears into Medieval so obviously they know that this is something a lot of people want. They added sliders in other patches/EPs. Here's hoping they at least add the ear point sliders as a nod to those of us NOT on the BBS.
