I just watched the Sims 3 Generations Producers Walkthrough on YouTube and I really liked what I heard there. For one, they said they really listened to what the players have been saying they want, and that they want more opportunities for storytelling in the life of their sims.

It looks like a nice EP. At lot of the more recent expansions have been appealing to me more and more. If my computer could handle it, I think I'd probably pick a couple of them up. I really hope they continue in the direction they seem to be going in. Could it be a return to form for the series?

There is going to be a new punishment system for parents to use on teens. Teens can be grounded or be forbidden from using their favourite object (like the computer). The punishment starts light, eg. grounded for a few hours, and gets bigger and bigger if the teen acts out against the punishment, eg. sneaks out while grounded or uses the forbidden objects and then gets caught. This should hopefully translate into better family-oriented gameplay, with kids and teens getting busted for pranking or throwing wild parties, etc.

That sounds great! Does it only apply to teens or can children get in on the fun, too? That'd be really interesting.

They're adding memories back in? In an EP? Interesting... that gives me hope that they might eventually upgrade the genetics, too. I really hope so.

I like the idea of naughty teenage antics, too. It'll be fun for storytelling, and just fun to play in general.

Riding around on horses will be a lot of fun! I'm already a big fan of the bicycles, so I'm all for these new options for travelling around, like the baby strollers. I'd lot to see more gardening and farming options, but maybe that will come in a Seasons-type EP. And llamas! I want to farm llamas. Make it happen, EA! XD
