I'm now one step closer to having my uberhood game back to where my Strangetown was when it imploded. I added some of the original sims from my story back in today, but not until I had a little fun re-working them.

I was never 100% satisfied with the looks of these three. I created them in a similar manner to the one I used to make Lyla Grunt and the Worthington family, using Maxis premades and templates and breeding them with the pacifier until I got interesting results, with some slight edits. Despite this, they still managed to look quite bland and Face Two-tastic, and Debbie even had the Maxis PT in her lineage! Something had to be done, so I fired up BodyShop and tweaked them until I was satisfied. Debbie's now more alien-ish (slightly bulging forehead and all) and everyone looks just a touch more unique.

Val Prospero

 Val travelled all four corners of Sim Earth before finally settling down among the bright lights and billboards of Sim City. Her organizational skills and way with people make her a born entrepreneur. Val credits her Veronaville accent for a great deal of her charm.

I'm definitely going to upload any sims that I'm including in my uberhood (meaning they're still relevant to the story). Care to refresh my memory about some of the other sims I've promised to share? I'm remembering Francine Worthington, Rhiannon D'Or, and the Summerdreams... anyone else come to mind?

They look fantastic! Still very much like their old selves, but refined, like you distilled their essence. LDP, 120 proof.

I especially like Cammy for some reason. She looks like someone who could actually exist, if that makes sense.

Thank you. That's exactly what I was going for with this edit, so I'm really happy to hear that. It seemed a shame to waste one of my few opportunities to fiddle with the look of the characters in the story, since so many of them are premade or born in the game.

I'm quite fond of Cammy, too. She has such a round, pleasant face, and a lot of the features I'm fond of in sims: wide-set eyes, wide nose and thick brows. She even has larger than normal ears to match. She's an interesting character, too. No matter what I've done with her in the game, she never seems to want to pair off with anyone. She's a free bird. I think she dated Julien Cooke once, but it didn't really go anywhere.
