Look what I can do! :D

I learned how to extract small objects from the game and turn them into clutter, using this very handy tutorial by Azaya at GoS. If you're reasonably comfortable with SimPE, it's actually quite easy.

See that can of hot chocolate? I extracted that! ^_^

I know! There were some things I really wanted to extract, but they were too complicated for a Milkshape Newbie like myself (for instance, the books always appeared on their side, and I had no idea how to rotate them so they appeared flat against the table - luckily, I no longer need to do that with FR's books). I also wanted the hobbie meshes from Freetime :)

Hopefully, you will be able to make them work!

Let's dig my download's folder hmmm...

Here's all the stuff I extracted from the game, all labeled and ready to use, but I never uploaded it because my apathy regarding preview pictures knows no bounds! :D

I extracted the homework and included the seven recolors available from the game (the cute kiddie stuff like the gnome and elephant notebooks, as well as the grown up homework for teens and YA) - they are located in the Hobbie/Bookcases part of the catalog.

HOMEWORK

I also included my magazines (it is a mesh from Aikea Guinea due to my issues with the in-game meshes) and all the recolors available from Freetime and the base game. I do have a picture!

(The magazzines are on the bed)

MAGAZINES

And the random stuff includes a hamburger, a cellphone, a coffee bag and the sandwich. Sadly, it is not grilled cheese (it's the lunch meat one), but I think a couple of clicks from one of Aelia's color actions would make it cheesy! :P

My SO could coach me through some editing of the meshes, so I'll probably take him up on that. I already learned how to rotate a mesh pretty easily, so that would solve your book dilemma (though you're right that fantasy_rogue took care of that already on Aikea's mesh, so there's no need for us to repeat that work).

Thank you for sharing your goodies! I was going to get the cellphone, too, so that saves me the bother. ^_^ I already tried the coffee bag and then realized that Azaya had already extracted it, so now I have three copies. :P For a coffee lover like me, that's not a bad thing!

If I actually learn how to work with meshes a little better, I'd love to make more grilled cheese items for the game, like some large sculptures for Natasha Una's studio. I think that'd be a lot of fun.
