Triffids. Terrible, terrible triffids.

So... I borrowed The Chrysalids and The Day of the Triffids from a friend, and now I'm sort of hooked on reading John Wyndham. These are great books. If you haven't read them, I'd highly recommend checking them out. I'm going to have to seek out more of his stuff, I think.

Hmm. Now why do I have the sudden urge to make S,HWC more post-apocalyptic? ;)

I've just started one, dragancaor is playing one, hasn't updated anything yet. jens_sims has one in generation three/chapter eight. There is another, which is the first I ever read, but it hasn't been updated in a LONG time, and I can't find it. :(

The rules aren't actually all that hard to remember. They seem impossible to keep track of, but as Red said to me "Basically everything they want? Can't have. Then look at the rules to see what you've unlocked after you top each career. XD". I read through the twice, and then a third time when I was cleaning up the formatting before posting them in my own journal, and I'm pretty sure I know what is and isn't allowed.

But I haven't actually PLAYED much of it yet. >.> Kyle is waiting in limbo for me to download post-apoc/grungy stuff. XD
