Drabble: Love

Prompt: Love
Character: Tank Grunt
Wordcount: 100
Imagecount: 0
Warnings: references to sexual situations

I did this one for [livejournal.com profile] music_simbol, since she mentioned it yesterday and got me thinking on it again. It's not as detailed as you had suggested (it's only 100 words, ya know?), but that will come later. For now, you get this drabble.

He wasn't aiming for love.

In all honesty, Tank considered love to be a little too much to ask for. It was a little out of his reach.

Right now, he'd settle for the sort of night where you never saw the person again, and wouldn't want to, because you'd done things that only animals would do. To look at them in the light of day would ruin everything. The illusion would be shattered.

But that was his libido speaking. His heart wanted more. It wanted the “hands pinned to the headboards” abandon, but also the comfort that came afterwards.

I think I have a $3 bill somewhere. No, wait, it's a $3 COIN. My mistake. This is Canada, people.

Damn, you're making me do math.

So your $3C is worth $2.37 US.

Hey, every little bit helps.

(new total $20.95--we have a blow job here, people!)

It's funny that you're converting my money. It's a bit ballsy of you to assume we're talking about US dollars here, doncha think?

Clearly, it should be converted to simoleans.

[identity profile] leskuh.livejournal.com 2009-03-31 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
^ this. I was wondering how much US dollars went into simoleans and what not. Especially since Van donated 20 Simoleons into the pot so where does it all equal out?

YOU brought up it being canadian, that's what got me curious to see the conversion rate.

Of course I automatically assume it's in US dollars. I'm an egocentric american *adjusts flag pin*. I only wish my car wasn't made out of plastic. I just can't get the "god bless america" magnet to STICK!

*snicker* Yeah, I suppose I will let your arrogant American ways slide just this one time, since I did make fun of Canada first. Because, ya know, The only thing queerer than a three dollar bill is obviously a three dollar coin (though European countries like their coinage just as much as Canada does - your country needs to get with the times).

Also, I forgot that the internet IS America, huh? Silly me.

You can tell american's really hate high value coinage. It's the only money they'll put women on. They tried to rekindle the dollar coin but it was doomed to failure when they put sacajawea on it. And I've never seen anyone use a susan b anthony coin.

*snerk* Our racists ways are also present in our hatred of the penny. Abe lincoln may have freed the slaves but just try and give away a penny. People will look at you like you tried to wipe a booger on them.
