Funny, but also not funny...

This amused me, but also concerned me just a little.

Dear Ripp, seek professional help. *snicker*

Now, I'm pretty sure I should not have the therapist call Ripp, right? But what is the correct answer here? Correct grammar would dictate that I say no, I do not mind, but is that how it works? Game logic makes me think I should say yes if I want them to call, and no if I do not want them to call.

Also, I have tried both in the past, and have never been called up by any of these contacts. Is there a known issue with this feature? Does anyone know anything about this?

Oh, game, please do not be borked. *crosses fingers*

Also, Ripp's not alone.

It has also been suggested that Phi seek therapy. They can go together. How sweet. XD

It's not really a borked sign it's just that the game had to assign that sim a contact to pass along. Unfortunately the untouchables aren't separated the way they should be by the scripting. The scripting wouldn't necessarily have the therapist call (I'm not sure if they could) but it would add the therapist to his contact list and relationships panel. Not necessarily a good thing. If you don't want the contact you should select no.

XD!
I don't know anything about this. Nothing weird ever happens in my games.
But if they have much in common, does that mean she could be suggesting that Ripp become a therapist?

rofl!
omg, if sims could be sarcastic, that would be the case, :P You're are nuts Ripp, let me give my therapist number!!

but yeah, I agree with ndainye, I'd say is just the game making a very poor selection, probably that sims doesn't know anyone else?? I dunno, is a very strange choice for the contact, but in a game that sends toddlers to outings, you can expect the unexpected O_0

I don't know why it says "do you mind" instead of "can I" and it bothered me, too, the first time I got one of those. I think we are nitpicky with our grammar ;)

Urk. This was discussed on MATY, and I think they decided that EA doesn't understand grammar, so select 'no'.

Heh, poor Ripp. So messed up.

Oh LMAO! Ripp you so need a therapist, maybe Tank will point you in the right direcction.

Hehe, I remember when one of my Sims was almost set up with the Hula Zombie. O_O I think Jenn is right, it's just the game needing a contact.

Almost the exact same thing happened to me, only it was the General who got the offer: Image (http://s57.photobucket.com/albums/g230/SnootCB/?action=view&current=pimping_out_therapist.jpg)

Also, I'm slowly working my way through SHWC. I think my neighbor believes I am just crazy now because I am always trying (somewhat unsuccessfully) to keep from laughing when I see him b/c he looks just like your Beau Broke. Keep up the awesome work. :)

I haven't had that kind of offer in my game yet, but I read about it on MATY. I'd choose NO because you are not supposed to have a relationship with the Therapist (just like the social worker and the social bunny).

And it took me a couple minutes to find the grammar mistake in that screenshot :S.

Other than that, I love how the townie could smell Ripp issues a mile away to make him that offer so bluntly ;). That girl has no tact at all!

I got this dialog too, except instead of Therapist it was Santa Claus. Silly game coding. :p I selected "no", too, but on the couple of other occasions that I got this with real sims and clicked "yes", I didn't get any calls either.

I'm more annoyed by the "ZOMG YOU CAN HAZ BLIND DATE??" people, which conntinually want to set up my MARRIED sims.

*giggles* One of my sims was given the option to know one of the PTs from my multi-PT hack. The only time I encountered the Therapist was due to InTeen: Lilith Pleasant ran away from home and, because I have Risky Runaway, she came back pregnant.

With Therapist's child -_-
