Strangetown extras: Ophelia rocks!

Okay, so I just wanted to brag about Ophelia's achievement in obtaining her gold talent badge for flower arranging, and show a cute photo or two. This is actually the first sim of mine to reach this level of flower arranging (I haven't had OFB all that long), so I'm excited to see the snapdragon bouquets in action.

Go Ophelia! That's the big payoff above her head. Shouldn't she get more aspiration points than that? Come on! I guess she probably would if she was a fortune or knowledge sim... but she did have the want (which I locked). Oh well. Ophelia rolled the want to buy a flower arranging table back when she was a teen, quite randomly, and it worked nicely into the story. She's moved on to gardening now.

Check out Johnny and Ripp over there "helping" her while she's working. As I mentioned before, her room is the biggest and becomes the place they end up hanging out in all of the time, since the stereo is in there too. The dancing happens autonomously. Johnny, in particular, always heads up there to turn it on and then dance or just hang out on the bed. Lots of autonomous relaxing going on around here.

Aren't they cute? They're all really good dancers (by sim standards). If I recall, they all received that college scholarship for dancing. Sometimes they just break into little dance offs like this for fun. Oh, I just love them.

I can top that: I learned some of my dance moves from TS1 (like many things from my preteen years, I blame this on being young and stupid... well, that and figuring that it couldn't be any worse than the way I naturally dance).

Also: I heavily favour the New Wave station. I put some of my own music into TS1 - as well as putting some of the Sim music in with the rest of mine - but nowadays I find that not using real-world music helps with the sense of immersion, and if I still crave human music then I just mute the Sim music and put iTunes on (I run it in windowed mode; this is partly for convenience and partly because it crashes when run in fullscreen.).
