Prosperity Challenge: Llama Spit Cove photos

I'm just uploading photos to my scrapbook to test it out (since Photobucket doesn't seem to want to ever restore my pics), so here's a couple of cute little pics from Llama Spit Cove.

I'll probably switch to hosting all my photos here on livejournal, though it'll take some getting used to. One of these days, I can see doing more with this hood too. Maybe when I build up a bit of a history there.

Very cute! I love and envy your picture-taking talent - it shows a lot of caring for the characters and an artistic training. Woe if Photobucket doesn't restore your Strangetown pictures because they are awesome and I was about to re-read several chapters. The eyecandy of Ripp and sad little face of Frances alone are reason to read the story over and over.

I remember reading in your storytelling interview that you've done all kinds of visual art, and it shows. I've done pencil drawing, watercolor and acrylic, pottery, and various other art media too, as well as taking classes for writing, and it's so nice to see someone on the internet with that same training who knows how to apply it to a computer game. You could say you've inspired me. I'm working on an alien Sims story of my own now. <3

One last thought: is it not the cutest thing evar when alien Sims have those green freckles?!? You just want to squish them and pinch their pixellated cheeks!

Cute pics (I love freckles on aliens--simgaroop turned me on to that).

But I'm more interested in this photobucket issue you're having. So you don't know if the links are broken or if Pbucket is just lazy in getting around to turning your service back on (so to speak)?

I hear you on the "don't want to fix broken links". That's too much work (and a daunting task).

If you think someone hotlinked the pic from the simsecret site, couldn't you just remove that one pic? Yeah, it would be a bit of work to hunt it down, but would that stop the hemmorage of bandwidth?

I hear you on the paying thing, too. $40 is a lot (even for a year). I didn't bat an eyelash when it was $20 (I piss away $20 in three days of buying lunch and vending machine pop). Hmm, maybe you could justify it by asking your spouse to give it to you as a gift? (yeah, I'm one of those who does that, can justify it if it's a gift but not buying it for no good reason)

Please excuse this incoherent comment, but it's all I can say about this post...

OMG THEY ARE SO FLIPPING ADORABLE! ESPECIALLY SCOTT I JUST WANT TO HUGGLE HIM! (By any chance is his "pollinator" another maxis made sim, if you catch my drift?)

I also would love to see the outcome of Tank/James Davenport's alien child. This little guy in my icon mauling moonshine is his (not born yet in the IB, yet too cute not to show off) son.

I always wondered what happened to Llama Spit Cove- it's great to see that you're still playing with them and just having fun. I too would have liked to do that with NowhereVille, but I lost them when I transfered my sims files to my laptop. There were some sims there that I really liked such as the Phillips and the Copeland families that I would love to re-create some day.

I'm having a lot of fun playing my prosperity neighborhood. Lately I've spent more time there then in Strangetown. *gasp!*

Scott is a cutie. I've got such a soft spot for little green men. :D
I can't help but notice that in the background of the picture of Garou Lamb the trash can has been tipped over. Somebody not happy in Llama Spit?

You know, you actually inspired me in a way- I'm going to be adding some new Sims into the Thornn Legacy, and they're (mostly) going to be descended from Maxis Sims- it should be cool to see different mixes and matches. :)
