Roof Raiser
Well, we did it. We're so married right now. Everything went very well, and we had a blast. You know the party is a roof raiser when the DJ asks you if you ever get tired. I laughed, I cried, and I have the ring to prove it. My memory panel has "had a great wedding party" in it. It was just about perfect, with enough mishaps and zany antics to make it truly special. We couldn't be happier.
Thanks for all the wedding well-wishes! We're off to Bermuda for a week now, and I'll probably do some thinking about Strangetown while I'm lying on all that nice warm sand.

Have fun in Bermuda and don't get lost in the ~Bermuda Triangle~ I'm superstitious, yes I am.

You forget about the collective whining when the guests' bladders were in the red from all that toasting, and there was only one toilet in the whole lot!

Fortunately, that was not the case with this particular wedding ;)
(And that's the reason I don't buy the champagne bottle/hire a barman in my sim weddings anymore, because that's a fool-proof way to get a disaster score in your parties. I only let them throw water balloons at each other and play kicky bag until I get a good score :P)

I love throwing sim wedding parties, and I'm sure that will eventually become obvious in my story. ;) (I can think of about 7 weddings that will likely happen, sooner or later, just off the top of my head.)
Oh, and if my sim wedding parties (or other parties) aren't going well, I just send a pair of sims off to woohoo. It works every time. ;)

Hmm, is that why your wedding party was a roof-raiser? ;)

Well, we might have capped the night off with some WH, just to be safe. ;)

Heehee, I wonder what a real life wedding with water balloons would be like.

Heheh. No worries - a couple of members of my family has been living in Bermuda for 15 years, and I've visited quite a few times already. We've all managed to not disappear off the face of the planet so far. The triangle is supposed to be below Bermuda anyway, and we never go south of the island. ;) (I've never been south of Bermuda in my life, actually.)

Good thing! The Bermuda Triangle scares me. I watched some documentary on Discovery Channel about it and freaked me out and made me not want to go there ever. (Clearly, everything I see on T.V. is true :P)
