I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you're all weirdos. Wait, don't leave yet... I have proof, from the official Sims 2 site:

Isn't that wild? I would never have expected Strangetown to be the least favourite hood in any poll. I guess us weirdos just congregate on livejournal. But seriously... it was beaten by Desiderata Valley?! WTF? That hood is just a pile of turd with no personality at all, from what I can see. (Sorry, I'm feeling rather honest right now. *snicker*) I love you, FT, but your hood sucks.

*waves Strangetown flag*

*goes off to design a Stragetown flag* Now THAT would be nerdy...

You're completely right! Why didn't I think of that before? There should totally be a community where we can geek out about Strangetown all day. I mean, I already have this journal, but maybe something even nerdier is in order. :P

I would totally join a Strangetown Pride community. Wonder if it would accept those who also use Strangetown clones... because I am incredibly fond of putting my favorite Strangetown characters in different places. (ahem... like shipwrecked on an island, lol)

I'd consider the use of any Strangetown characters to be an example of Strangetown pride. It's really more about the characters than the setting, anyway, isn't it? ;)

If I started up a comm for Strangetown, I'd probably word it differently, though. I'd feel a little silly using "pride", given the more typical use for that term. We're not exactly "coming out" to our parents as Strangetown lovers, are we? Nobody's going to say I can't get married because I love Strangetown. (Well, they better not... it's too late to call off the wedding now. *snort*)
