Request for simselves

Yeah, I know I said I was taking a break (I'm pretty bad at this, aren't I?), but I just thought of a fun little sim project to amuse myself with while I get away from my story for a while, and I'm here to request some simselves for use in this experiment.

I've been really into Open For Business lately, and I want to attempt to achieve that "have 5 top level businesses" LTW, while I'm learning all about the perks and all that. So my plan is to get Ms. Strange Tomato a nice little tomato garden and start selling the produce in her very own farmer's market, and then maybe branch out into opening an art gallery, coffee shop, or one of the many other pipe dream business ideas I've thought up over the years.

What I need now are workers. That could be you. I'm looking for seven diverse simselves to offer me their talents. You can even specify a particular skill they should have (only one), to get us started. I'll also need the stats and dual aspiration for them. I'll do a little report on how it all goes after I've had some time to play around with it. Don't worry. I'll be kind to them.

Any takers?

The nice thing about simselves is they can be in more than one place at a time. ;)

I'd love to have Van. One can never have enough employees that like to fart and swing from the door of the fridge. (Does she play pirates too?) Now you just need to decide what special skill she should have. I assume you'll want something creative, like music skill. It's too bad sims can't make jewelry. That would be great for a business.

I'm going to accept whoever sends someone along by this evening (or maybe even sometime tomorrow - it'll take a while to set up the lot). If it's more than seven, I'll just add them to another house and hire them to come to the businesses. Just seven for the main lot, though, obviously.

It's so fun seeing her in all these things! Haha, yeah Van can be really entertaining with her 9 Playful points. Unfortunately she's not a bathtub pirate. I think only active/playful sims do that all the time. And yup, she definitely should be creative. Making jewelry would be great for a business! Oh well, at least they have the sewing machine, that's great too.

I can't wait to see what happens when this gets started. Where are you having this little thing located? It better not be Strangetown, because if Ripp is there she would not be able to focus at all, lol. I put her on my downloads page again here with her stats.

Thanks!

Okay, well I'll give her maxed creativity. (Everyone gets maxed something.)

I'd like it to be in Strangetown, just so I could pass on my business perks to someone, but I think I may take it elsewhere. (Though, seeing random cameos by simselves in the story would be funny too...)

You're welcome! And yay for maxed out creativity! :D
I was just kidding about me not wanting it to be in Strangetown- I'd love to see if they ever randomly pop up in your scenes!

Maybe I'll test the new FT hood with this. I've hadn't even checked it out at all yet.

Well, whatever you do is fine with me!

No, scrap that. I went in there and it's LAME. :P I'm leaning towards Veronaville now, since I do love those timber framed houses, and there's this one lot with a little hedge maze and I've always wanted to play it. I think that will be our home base.

I can always add some Strangetown clones if I want some familiar customers. ;)

YES! Then you will have Strangetown AND Veronaville sims! Sounds like a great plan. ;) (selfsim will be sooo happy)

Yeah, after I get everyone settled in, I'll be adding all of our favourite characters from Strangetown. I think this will be good for getting the fire back. Who knows? I may even have an update ready for next week.

Yeah, I'm sure that having the Veronaville and Strangetown characters interacting with eachother could provide you with some inspiration.

Oh yeah. I've already had a little of that happening in the main hood. ;) (I'm so bad about dropping these hints, aren't I?)

Well you know I don't mind the hints, they're fun! ;)

I know. Hints are SO MUCH FUN! :D

I want to get into that hedge maze, too! It looks so cool.

Isn't it, though? I've always wanted my own maze or labyrinth in the backyard. That house is just big enough for 8 single beds too. It was meant to be.
