Request for simselves

Yeah, I know I said I was taking a break (I'm pretty bad at this, aren't I?), but I just thought of a fun little sim project to amuse myself with while I get away from my story for a while, and I'm here to request some simselves for use in this experiment.

I've been really into Open For Business lately, and I want to attempt to achieve that "have 5 top level businesses" LTW, while I'm learning all about the perks and all that. So my plan is to get Ms. Strange Tomato a nice little tomato garden and start selling the produce in her very own farmer's market, and then maybe branch out into opening an art gallery, coffee shop, or one of the many other pipe dream business ideas I've thought up over the years.

What I need now are workers. That could be you. I'm looking for seven diverse simselves to offer me their talents. You can even specify a particular skill they should have (only one), to get us started. I'll also need the stats and dual aspiration for them. I'll do a little report on how it all goes after I've had some time to play around with it. Don't worry. I'll be kind to them.

Isn't it, though? I've always wanted my own maze or labyrinth in the backyard. That house is just big enough for 8 single beds too. It was meant to be.

Yeah, after I get everyone settled in, I'll be adding all of our favourite characters from Strangetown. I think this will be good for getting the fire back. Who knows? I may even have an update ready for next week.

She has some CC. I'm anxious to see if it comes through OK. I deliberately stripped my previous shared sims of CC, because it worries me. :p I'm just a dork. The hair is the same as Jill Smith wears, except mine's not green. I also gave her HP's oval glasses, a mole to match mine, and a recolored H&M outfit. But put her in whatever you want, whatever makes it fun for you--even the propeller beanie if you need a laugh. :D

Stats: It doesn't matter exactly, but to make it easier for you:
S/N - 4
S/O - 3
L/A - 3
S/P - 7
G/N - 8

I think that's within CAS tolerances, so you won't have to add points with InSim. If I counted wrong, feel free to change it. As long as I'm nice, fairly playful, shy and lazy then it'll be close to my real personality. :)

Aspiration: anything but Fortune! Probably Knowledge with Pleasure as secondary, but you already have some of those, right? I always say I would have been a Romance sim in my youth (though we had another name for it, one that starts with S, haha). So maybe give me that. Romance with Knowledge as secondary might be fun.

Oh, the maxed skill... Hmm. *looks around room* Clearly not cleaning. *looks at self* Not body, either. Better make it creativity. Unless you have a lack of sims with a skill that you need.

I can't imagine my sim falling in love, since I doubt you'll be doing any romantic interactions. I'm sure I'll be fine as long as I keep skilling. :P

There is some makeup included. I'm not sure how it would look on default skins, so if it looks weird, its okay if you take it out. (God, I wish my skin was a clear as the sims. *sigh*) :P

I think I'm quietly losing my mind. Yousendit won't work for me, the exchange gives me an error message, and now my own dad-owned email server refuses to upload ANYTHING . . AUGH! >_<;

Aha, I've tried doing a farmer's market sort of business before, but I was a bit disappointed because the whole idea behind it was to have all plantsim employees who could be assigned to talk to the plants. As I recall, that wasn't something I could make them do, so I got discouraged. This project of yours sounds fun, though! I'd love to help out, of course to do that, I'd have to go back home and fix up my selfsim and everything and then bring her to anywhere with internet again, because I don't have it at home right now. But you probably don't need me, anyway :)

Oh! And if you need to change the hair/clothes/makeup, feel free! I tend to wear bluejeans and t-shirts or baggy black slacks, but anything's fine as long as it's some shade of green without pink being involved, black, or purple. :D I lurvs me some purple. ^^ And I love tacky/loud jewelry, but I loathe wearing most makeup. c.c

Yeah, I'm not thinking about the romance side of it, unless a customer shows some interest, and then maybe I would go there, so who knows...

I hear ya on the clear skin thing. My simself should have a pretty scarred face, really (I got pwned by acne in my early 20's), but the beauty of sims is that everyone is clear-faced and symmetrical. It keeps them from looking like a perfect likeness, but it's idealizing, so who'll complain?

If the makeup is weird, I can substitute something similar.

Ahhaha, I would, but I don't have a decent self-sim (not that she's indecent, but I think she's got some cc on her) and I can't remember how to package a sim. I know I had to extract Joe Carr with SimPE once, but that was so long ago. :/

I hate how the EPs aren't compatible like that. I'll have to see how it all goes. This is a big OFB experiment. It should be fun.

I don't mind some cc. If it's just hair and clothing, we're good (I'll just change the eyes/skins to what I use).

You can package sims in Bodyshop. If you've extracted them in SimPE, they show up in BS (LOL at the acronym), and you can package them from there. I can give more details if you need them.
