Barefoot, pregnant, and at the mercy of InSIM: testing genetics
Recently, I tried fiddling with the recessive genetics in Strangetown, using SimPE, since
madame_ugly was nice enough to explain it all to me a while back. The return of InSIM made it easy to test them out, so that's just what I did, using my favourite approach - the HANDS ON method.

Yes? Is there something you all wanted to tell me?

That's right, my friends. You got knocked up via InSIM, and you'll have no idea who the other parent is... oh, wait, yes you will. The green ones are Johnny's.

Ophelia: Okay, it's time to clean up these babies, guys! Get to work and start picking them up.
I love how the children of Ripp and Ophelia have such a wide range of skintones, instead of just ending up averaged out (that seems to always happen for me).
Even with all of those babies, I didn't get any kids from Johnny with red hair, so I'm not sure if I correctly changed his genetics. I'll have to test it out again. All of these kids had blond hair, so Ripp's recessive genetics are definitely working (I had some grey eyes too).
It's so nice to have InSIM back. I'm not sure if my sims agree, though.

I just downloaded InSIM two days ago since it updated for Free Time. It's pretty fun to play around with!
And then I realized for the next few updates in my story I'm going to have to InSim Tank pregnant over and over again (and not save) since the baby is already born. The things I do to the poor guy! I've already had him abducted three times for the sake of getting the shots I wanted. He's gonna want to kill me after a while I think. I could just imagine "death of van" showing up in his wants since my selfsim is in the game. Wait, that's already happened. He beat her up like five times for no reason when she was in college. (though she miraculously won against him once)

Oh, how fun! You'll like having InSIM. You can do so much with it. I feel lost without it now.
Wow. Your Tank must hate you... and I see that he really does. LOL - he beat your simself up? Now, that's not very nice, Tank.

InSIM is great. I know I could do a lot of the things using boolprop testingcheats, but the errors that would pop up occasionally would always scare me.
I have a feeling at first it had something to do with her being with Ripp. Like, while he was at the house he would always come over and kick the trashcan. But I have NO IDEA how that turned into "I hate Ripp so I must hate his lover too." I like to think it was because he could see the future and he knew what was coming to him before I even did.
To be fair, Blair was over a few times when he attacked Van and then when I played his dorm afterwards he was constantly having wants to use the workout equipment. So then I let full body skill Blair attack him.
Since I had to re-make the Mace family due to them being all glitched, he doesn't know Van at all and I'm hoping it stays that way for a while. He still might be out to get me!
